I did quite a bit of searching before deciding to purchase this product - and I'm glad I did. The package arrived in a huge box, everything packed away nice and tight. I opened the packaging and started to assemble everything. At first I was a bit concerned and thought I would need my husband's help - but after watching the instruction videos on the sellers web site (which are awesome), set up was a breeze and only becomes easier with practice. I can imagine it taking about 10 minutes to set up on location once the user is familiar with the entire ensemble. I had two issues: one of the smaller light didn't work and an attachment head on the backdrop stand was cracked - but upon notifying the seller - replacements were shipped very quickly. Excellent Customer Service ePhoto - I am very pleased! Plus - it shipped super fast, I couldn't wait to set everything up. Quality = great for any Beginner or Advanced Photographer on a budget. The bag that everything is stored in is weak at the seams. I actually separated out the lights and light heads into a Tupperware container to relieve some of the stress of the bag, it is still pretty heavy, but much more manageable now. Use = The lights are awesome. I love the maneuverability of each stand. Don't be shy - tighten down each attachment, otherwise it's not as stable and may fall over (especially the larger Hair Light). The amount of light admitted is perfect for an indoor studio; I also love the ability to lower the light level via the light head switches. Outdoor, the only issue I foresee is wind blowing everything over. Results = Awesome portraits! This light system is as good as the expensive ones, and produces great shots! All-in-all this is well worth the $. From my experience - this seller is concerned about their customer's satisfaction and providing quality products at affordable prices. I will definitely be buying from this seller again!!!! Many thanks for the great products!

I work as a Production Minister and shoot HD film about once a week. 80% of the time, we use green screen or something generic in the background. We had some generic Smith-Victor lights that had a very warm tone to them. We since have used the ePhoto H9004SB-69BWG kit three times. And the footage is so much better and brighter. These lights CANNOT be mixed with fluorescent lighting unless it's the same color temp. The color temp is dang near a blu-ish tint . Otherwise your ability to white balance will be all over the place, but you should already know that. The setup is a bit time-consuming. The first time took me about 2 hours, including going through a bevvy of poorly organized YouTube tutorial videos that do not speak specifically to this kit. And because of the amount of things needed, I just put everything on a cart and literally only broke down the stands because folding up the lights properly would take another hour, and ain't nobody got time for that. Seriously. Don't buy this if you're breaking down and setting up AKA on-location shoots. I didn't believe the reviews and we're... well, a church, so we rolled the dice. The stands themselves are great, but the elbow joints needed to dangle an overhead/key light are almost worthless without a sandbag (they give you a sandbag, but no sand, fyi) and a few clamps. But considering the price, you're getting a lot -- I just know that if we were to do it all over again, we'd probably pass and save for a more professional kit. If you own a studio, you'd be hard-pressed to pass this one up. Two last notes: 1) Don't expect to just take out your white/black/green fabric and start shooting. I have no clue what I expected for the material Muslin, but it is moderate-weight material that NEEDS to be ironed out before you start using. 2) The fabric is only 6' wide, which is really weird because the bar goes to 10' wide, so for tight shots you'll be fine, but medium shots would be difficult and wide? Fogittaboutit. EDIT: We've owned this for over about a year, and it's a little worse for wear. The lights are literally falling apart. Again, this goes hand-in-hand with the fact that I only have a studio wherever I set up the lights, and it can't be permanent, so I'm moving them quite a bit. - One fixture just broke. Cracked and broken. - 4 of the light bulbs fall apart every time I move them. They didn't at first, but within a month, it was unbearable. I superglued them back together. - I don't know if time has somehow changed their color temperature or if I just didn't notice, but the 4 bulb system is a different color temperature than the super-large back-light. - Because of the color temperature variation, we decided to veer away from the green screen - haven't looked back. Again, if I had a time machine, I would have pleaded for LED's. EDIT: They are almost all dead. DON'T BUY THESE IF YOU HAVE TO SET THEM UP AND TEAR THEM DOWN A LOT. THEY DON'T LAST!

We have had our setup for several months now. We have used it AT LEAST three times a week since the day it arrived. Based on *excessive* use and the condition the items remain in, we have decided to review it and post it here. :: Great product for a photographer on the go. Lighting: The lights are O.K. for pulling Key's if you have *decent* ambient lighting. If you are shoot a wide video shot, you might find that these lights alone will not fill the entire background with linear lighting making your key pretty difficult to pull. There was no mention of exact wattage on the site or this Amazon page; I can guarantee it is NOT near the 2400watt version on this site (a fellow video producer uses that one and it is definitely brighter). The Beauty Dish light is rather big, however, not very bright at all, and the bulb is quite expensive to replace. I do say to use caution when moving this one around. It will cost you. Overall, this lighting is fine for a mobile studio, with hopes of NOT shooting in a dark or poorly lit warehouse, unless your lights are almost SITTING on the subjects face. Backdrop: The backdrop is pretty decent. Like I said, we have been using it almost 3 times a week -as a moving studio. We only use TWO of the bars (both end pieces) as there is just too much sag with all 4. At that point, might as well find a way to pin it to the wall. The stands themselves could be made better. They are quite flimsy until you have them sitting correctly. The stand clamps are nice...they don't dent the risers when you tighten it (some other backdrop stands use bad clamps and by simply tightening it to your height, it will damage the riser rods. These do not do that.) One a scale of 1 to 10 in sturdiness based on: Wind: 3 - It WILL topple over if at full height and even with sandbags. Even a little bit of wind. Horrible for outside wedding photobooths or onsite video keying. Outdoors: 5 - Assuming there is no wind, it works pretty well simply standing there. I would suggest putting it near a wall or sandbagging it though. Indoors: 8 - Decent all-around kit. I have used better...but not for the same price as this. Matthews, avenger, impact will run you 3x the cost for similar setup. Full Cross Bars: 6 - Sags pretty bad with all bars and a Muslin backdrop. I would not recommend using them all for long period shoots. 2 Cross Bars: 8 - Best with two bars, it is pretty much solid. Full Height: 8 - There is a *bit* of tilt when fully extended to it's max height (about 9 ft, give or take). I have seen better but at a higher cost. Accessories: The bag lasted us about a month before the zipper seam came undone. It was great while it lasted, but eventually we just threw it away and bought a professional bag. Which was more expensive than this whole kit. Which we also recommend getting if you are planning on moving this around more than once a week. Lightware Cargo 42 or Lightware Cargo 52- Huge and EXTREMELY Durable. Lightware is worth ever penny. :: I would say that given our use, we would definitely recommend it for a photographer/videographer on a budge or just starting outt; but if you can, we suggest getting the other version from ePhoto (mentioned earlier that a friend has) as it is much better AND brighter. If we had to do it over again, we would still buy this kit. If you have a bit of a higher budget and don't mind a much heavier set, then probably go for a Matthews, Avenger or Impact Backdrop system and stick with the 2400Watt version of ePhoto for decent continuous lighting. This is a great set! It's my first green screen setup and it works just fine! I think the soft boxes alone are worth the money. Sure, the tripods are a little lacking in heavy ruggedness, but mine are stationary. I just set mine up and leave them alone in the studio. If you're constantly traveling with them, I might suggest a higher quality set. But if your plan is to set them up and let them chill in one place, buy it! You won't be sorry.

I bought this studio for my 13-year old son, who assembled it and immediately began using it. One of the lights was damaged in shipping as well as the case (it was ripped) BUT the moment the company received my message they called me within 15 minutes of my email and shipped the replacement items out right away. We received both the broken bulb and a new case today. I was very impressed by the concern of the seller and their professionalism in rectifying the issue. I would definitely buy from them again. As for the studio, it is a great studio and takes wonderful photos. We are actually using it as a family, which has saved us a lot of money in photo shoots. A total thumbs-up on this product!

My son, I bought this for him for his 10th birthday. He is into making movies and taking selfies. For the price, for an 10 year old budding producer, this is a must have product. You get green, black and white screen and all the lighting works you see. I've bought other stuff for him since then but this is a great starter kit for kids or adults.

Not easy nor fast to set up at all, contrary to the claims made on the product page. The stands are also very flimsy, the light are weak and unusable if you want to take a wide shot, you can only use the lights like a foot and a half or so away from your subject.

To be fair, I'm a novice at using this equipment. I've used the equipment at my college, but this is my first privately owned set, so take my review with this in mind. I am using this for video recording and some photography. First off, this set is not sturdy. 2 pieces( the rotating handles for the overhead light, and a screw for tightening one of the lamp poles) broke very easily on first time use. This is not meant for grab and go, this takes a quite a bit of time to set up. Pros: It's relatively cheap. The lighting works for what I need( amateur youtube videos and photography). Stores easily inside included duffel bag. Overall: Professionals will already know to stay away from buying this(it's like a kids set compared to professional setups). But if you're new to lighting and need something on the cheap, this could work for you. Just be gentle with it.
