I just needed something to keep the cat from getting into our bread (and then sharing it with the dog, lol). I love this bread box though. I love the wooden look, the way the door slides up and down is very smooth and satisfying. The door can be opened enough that it won't just close again, but has enough weight that the cat has been thwarted in its attempts to eat more carbs. I can fit two full leaves of bread without squishing them in and its plenty sturdy enough to place things on top of it. I'm very glad I got this one.

Wonderful capacity and is good looking. It seems durable and does not take up too much space.

This bread box has enough room for 2 loafs of bread side by side and maybe some hamburger or hotdog buns stacked on top. The door is easy to open. This is my first bread box so I can't exactly be an expert on this subject, but I like it.

This breadbox is a good size -- it's very deep. It comes assembled and seems to be well built. It's attractive, and the roll top door slides smoothly. Overall I'm quite happy with it. I was looking for something to store snacks in (cookies and chocolate). I was trying to find something tall and deep, like the breadbox I currently use for bread. However the tall ones that I found were expensive. This breadbox is very reasonably priced and does hold a good amount, and I believe they were offering it at a discount when I bought it. Also the counter area where I keep the breadboxes is not wide enough for 2 to fit side by side. So I put this one perpendicular, which is why the rolling door is a nice feature. It's still easy for me to open it and reach in to get something, then close it again. Also the top is flat so I can stack some things on top. Good Value.

Wonderful breadbox, well constructed, attractive, roomy. I had been wanting a breadbox for a long time and just wasn’t sure about the quality of the selections. This one did not disappoint, the description was accurate and the fact that it was fully assembled cinched it for me. Go ahead and buy this one! You won’t be disappointed.

high quality. looks great. stores a decent amount of whatever it is you're hiding from your counter. we put storage bag decanted pasta crackers and tea in it mostly nothing more unsightly than pasta in a plastic bag on your counter

Love my bread box beautifully made

It loons very nice on our countertop. The door was a little hard to open and close because the pieces were kind stuck together and didn’t bend over the curvature, but after opening and closing it a few times the problem went away. Now it opens and closes early. No assembly required! It is large, it can hold a loaf of bread, a bag of sandwich bread and a few beagles. The finish is nice and softly glossy which makes it easy to clean
