I'm not a big review writer, but after 6 months or so of using this dripper every day, I'm flat out in love with it. In combination with an electric kettle, my morning coffee experience has become faster, cleaner, easier, and better tasting. It's true that I'm a one-cup coffee drinker, so if you need a whole pot, this probably isn't ideal for you. But if you want to just have a cup of coffee, I've tried pretty much everything else and this beats them. I'd fallen into the keurig trap and was buying the little cups. Bad for so many reasons. But two spoonfuls of ground coffee into this filter, sit it on top of the cup, pour hot water from the kettle and boom, there's my morning joe. I can control the amount of coffee used, I can control the drip rate by how fast I pour. But here's the real thing that makes this shine, cleanup. Because the bottom flat section has a rubber rim, I can grab it immediately after pouring hot water into the filter and rinse the whole dripper in the sink. Even with refillable keurig cups, I couldn't touch it until it cooled. Practically, this meant that I left it there until I wanted coffee again, and had to clean caked coffee and dried oils out of it. This dripper takes a 30 second rinse immediately after use and is clean as a whistle. I took it camping. Best camping coffee ever. Simple, fast, easy to clean. I'm buying a second one just to leave in my camping gear. This is one of those products that, if something happened to it, I would buy a replacement within the hour.

I liked this item so much that I got an extra one for my camper. I like that it stainless steel and you can use it with or without a paper filter (the filters make your coffee a bit stronger and make cleanup much much easier, btw). It comes apart and snaps back together if needed, but I've never needed to take it apart. It is well designed so that the coffee flows down into your cup and not all over the counter.

Oh my amazing. Perfectly constructed pour over design. Rubber ring slips off and a challenge to get back on but it’s a lifer product. No need to keep buying unless get married. So easy to clean.

Easy to use and clean, my only complaint is the bottom falls off way too easily. Not when on your cup and using it, that works fine. It's when flip it over to get the grinds out and into my compost bucket it falls off with even a light tap. Easy to put back on though. Just annoying. I starting using it when my kuerig quit on me. I have an electric tea kettle and just heat up my water that way, but if i lost power I could easily heat water with a pot on the fire. It's very well made and solid though. Suggest course ground coffee as the finer grinds somehow get through the very fine holes, my coffee is course but i have some leftover eco pods and mixed them with my coffee so not wasting and found the super fine "dust" manages to come through. Filters otherwise super! The water does flow somewhat quick but honestly about the same as with the keurig. I like that I can pour 18-19oz into my 20oz yeti and see when I'm getting full and need just enough to add my ½ and ½.

My husband is loving this new filter and how, unlike the old filter with filter paper, he is better able to adjust the amount of coffee he is making based on selected mug size du jour. In the past, the old filter needed a large cup for support and with that, a large amount of coffee was drunk first thing in the morning. I am learning that with hubby now beginning each day with a smaller cup, not having the paper filter to dispose of in the compost bin as well as feeling a connection to the pouring of hot water and mastering the desired filtrate, is being greatly cherished at this time. What a fabulous design and truly a blessing each and every new morning!

I bought this mainly just to have a back up in case I ran out of paper filters. Now, a month after its arrival it is the only thing I find myself making coffee with. I have been using a Melita with the cone filters quite happily for years now and switch it up with a French press or cold brew here and there. I would have never guessed how radical of a difference this filterless pour over would make to the flavor of the coffee but it is absolutely night and day compared with using a paper filter. The paper filters make a very smooth coffee but seems to dull the profile considerably. Without a filter, the flavor profile has opened up and is considerably more bold and complex. I’m not kidding when I say that the paper filters are now the back up for this one. I absolutely love this thing and would give it my highest recommendation. In fact, I will be ordering more so that I have back ups in case anything ever happens to it. As a bonus it is an absolutely beautiful little piece of stainless steel design. For reference, I am using a custom blend that I have roasted for me by a local shop and I grind the beans very finely (a couple steps more coarse than an espresso grind). I fill the cone to within about 3/4” of the rim and use about 3 1/2 cups of water for the extraction for a fairly strong 20 oz. cup. Downsides: -there will be some sediment at the bottom of the cup. Watch those last couple sips. -Depending on your grind, the extraction can be slow enough that you might lose some temperature by the time it is done. I solved the issue by grinding the beans slightly more coarsely. If you don’t grind your own beans (using a burr grinder) this is probably not a good method to use. It will likely still be noticeably slower than a paper filter Melita. -it is nowhere near as convenient as using a filter for cleanup. You will have to dump the grinds and then rinse it well. I then give it a quick once-over with the nylon bristle brush that is included and have not had any issues with clogging or buildup. Like I said before, I had very little expectations for this so it is a pleasant surprise that it has become my go-to.

It's decent quality but during hold coffee long enough to get s decent pour-over strength. I had a double-walled one originally, and that allowed for a better brew. If you like weak coffee, this is for you

I love this filter and just bought a 2nd one for our Airbnb studio. So easy to use to make more delicious coffee than any of my other methods. It does leave a little sludge in the bottom of your cup which can be solved by a slightly coarser grind, using a filter or simply rinsing the cup which is what I do.

Recommend Still using this 4-5 days a week for past year. Black rubber seal kept coming off, and since I don’t see any point in continuously putting it back on, it remains off. Works as you expect. I use it with a coffee filter. While you don’t necessarily need to, I find that the coffee is smoother with a paper filter (and Dr Michael Greger recommends it, removes some kind of oil? I don’t remember, you could search it up on his website if you like: nutrition facts.org)

Habe dieses Kaffeesieb gekauft da mein altes ein löchlein hat aber bei diesem Sieb kommt mehr Kaffeesatz mit durch als bei meinem alten mit löchlein. Vielleicht nur für groben Tee zu gebrauchen.
