Great blade for great value
Great blades. I am an amateur wood worker, but these are the best I have used by far. These blades give me such clean cuts and little tear out. Just the difference in the quality of cuts I can make is astounding. this 40 tooth cuts with ease, but also cleaner and smoother than my other brands 60 tooth blades. What makes these especially worth it is, making a clean cut the first time is worth so much money to me in frustration and time. When I couldn't get the right cuts with my nice shiny new Miter saw, I did a whole lot of research and ended up here. I love good quality products that do what they are supposed to the right way and this is one of those products.

In general, it's good at cutting wood
All diablo and freud blades are top notch...I don't even bother trying other brands after using these blades...they are thar good...cut so smoothly I thought something was wrong the first time I used one...it was way quieter and the wood fed through the blade effortlessly...a true game changer

Reliable All Purpose Blade with Clean Cuts and Good Durability
The Diablo 40 tooth ATB blade is a great middle ground if you want one blade that can handle most tasks. It delivers clean cuts on plywood and solid wood while still being capable of ripping without struggling too much. Itโs noticeably smoother and cleaner than most stock blades, making it a worthwhile upgrade for table saws or miter saws. While itโs not the absolute best for ultra fine finishes or heavy ripping, it performs very well across both, which makes it ideal for general use.

Stays SHARP through pressure treated lumbar
I bought this blade to construct 192 feet of dock 4' x 4' dock panels, made from pressure treated lumbar with a factory applied waterproof sealant . I was concerned with premature blade binding and dulling, as the wood was very saturated with preservative and each 5/4" x 6" x 8' board (actually a bit thicker than 5/4") was cut twice to fit the dock frame. I also had to cut many under structure 1" x 4" boards. In total, 192 5/4" x 6" boards - cut twice, and 72 1" X4" boards also cut twice! You get my point, lots of cutting...! Everything was cut with a Bosch sliding compound miter saw. This blade held up extremely well, it held nearly identical performance from the first cut to the last. While I did construct this dock over two days, most of the cutting was done in 3 sessions. The blade was excellent, the cut finish was also very good (not quite finish blade quality), particularly for a dock. I have several Freud blades and like many of the other reviewers, I feel they are precision made and the best, most durable blades at their price point (or perhaps any). Quality product!

Get one! Worth every penny!
You really have no idea how much of a difference a good quality saw blade makes till you step up and make the purchase! I stuck with the crummy 24T blade that came with my table saw and got plenty of good work done with it. But I finally decided to try one of the diablo blades. I was stunned by the difference! This blade cut through wood so quietly it literally almost turned into a safety incident! After installing the blade I went to make a test cut on some scrap 1x2. I pushed the scrap forward and at the point that I would normally "hear" the cut there was nothing so I figured something was wrong. I pulled the scrap back only to realize the blade had already cut a quarter into the scrap. It was that quiet! And everyone's assertions are right on the money. This blade cuts so cleanly it almost feels like it's been sanded to 180grit. The only "complaint" I would have is that every now and then a touch of the red rubs off on the stock. But hey, it's really cool to just have a red sawblade right?!?!? :D

WOW - So QUIET and CUTS LIKE A DREAM
I read the great reviews and had high expectations -- this blade is amazing! I first noticed the design: 1)right behind each tooth is a little tip to help clear out the cut; 2)laser cut expansion slots; 3)three laser cut anti-vibration stabilizer vents -- seems to be a well engineered design. Then I put the blade on my chop saw. When I pulled the trigger I noticed that, even free spinning, it was significantly quieter than my old blade - then when I did a test cut in a 2x4, I was amazed -- the sound hardly changed (I could hardly tell it was cutting) -- the cut was effortless and even though this is just a 40-tooth general purpose blade, there was virtually no tear-out -- exceptionally smooth cut. I promptly ordered another one for my table saw.

Good blade
Used it for cutting laminate flooring and did a great job initially. I thought I would get a longer life out of it but given the thickness of the flooring, maybe it was wishful thinking. Good blade otherwise.

Just buy it!
Let me start by saying I don't normally write reviews, mostly just to warn of a bad product (which isn't often as I read reviews before buying pretty much anything). So I've been eye-balling this blade for some time. All the reviews looked good, reasonably priced, but.. When I bought my saw used it came with 3-4 new blades. Granted these were the $10 discount hardware blades, but a new blade is a new blade right? Wrong. So don't waste anymore time, like STOP reading this review and buy it now, then come back and finish reading the review to get all excited for your new blade to get there. Okay, now that you bought it I'll tell you my experience with it. I like to work with pallet word (yes I'm cheap, I was using a $10 blade remember?). I've found some really nice pieces in pallet wood, especially when you can find good hardwood pallets. So I'm working on this project and I notice that my saw seems to be struggling when I'm ripping some oak stringers that are just over an inch think. Now I have an older delta contractors saw with a 3hp motor, not underpowered you could say, but she was struggling nonetheless. Besides that, the cut edge is just black, not exactly the look I was going for and glueline ready? I wish. Even with some 1/2 inch hardwood slats I was ripping I would get burnt edges, even pine would get burnt edges sometimes (but a $25 dollar blade isn't that much better than a $10 blade right?) Fast forward to getting my new blade. Took the old blade out, cleaned up the arbor plates and stuck this new one on. First cut was in an oak stringer and holy crap it was a thing of beauty. Hot knife through butter didn't even discribe it, is almost like it feeds itself, it cuts that easy. Just beautiful, clean, no burn marks and glueline ready. But I do have one problem. I should have ordered this long ago, but that's user error... On a side note, I have 2 new, never used, $10 blades for sale if anyone is interested in saving a buck.
