Bought these bulbs to convert my old motorcycle to LEDS . These are probably at least twice as bright as the old incandesent bulbs . Fit right in the 1156 socket . Cool little bulbs !

I have an OLD 6v camp lantern. The bulb blew after some use and I bought another bulb to replace it. The bulb was dim, barely lit up, and I never knew why. Recently I was watching one of those car restoration shows and they were talking about how the brake lights were 6v bulbs and not 12v. I never knew there was a difference in bulbs. I got this to try out and it worked perfectly. I now have the camp lantern working that I used in the 70's.

Bought these LED bulbs to replace the old incandescent bulb in my vintage 6 volt Ray-O-Vac Model 100 lamp. It's kind of dim, just enough light to read by and to see to walk around the room. The color of the lighting is a cool white, not the warm yellowish-white glow like the incandescent bulbs but the trade off will be 10 times battery life. Wished it was just a little brighter.
