Good syfy movie a little like land of the lost

A very good movie. That's the reason I wanted to watch Patrick Stewart's and Kyle MacLanchlan's play because those 2 famous actors are my favorite TV stars. Stewart from Star Trek: The Next Generation. MacLanchlan from Sex and the City and Dune. I have heard about Jules Verne, a famous author, little bit. Verne was a very smart if he's pretended to be seeing a future prophecy. That same movie title have many different versions including 1961 that I saw on TV cable in the past.

Received the DVD yesterday, however there is no digital code. Now I am not even sure if it is an original product or a counterfeit. Hope it plays correctly. Hopefully it will play fine.

A family friendly Jules Verne mini-series from director Russell Mulcahey. Strictly for the young at heart. The visual effects by today's standards are pretty primitive but adds to the charm and innocence of the story. An okay way to past three hours on a rainy Sunday afternoon with the kids.

Poor Patrick Stewart. Why did you star in this mess?

Very enjoyable, with some great classic actors and really good acting by the whole cast. Lots of action, monstors and despicable bad guys. I loved it!
