Kit was high quality, the pump had the Aisin part number on it, the timing belt lined up with the marks, carefully packaged. Had all we needed for the timing belt, however, since the engine nearly has to be taken apart, it would be a good idea to include the thermostat and gasket for it in this or another kit to take advantage of all the labor that is already happening. We also installed the seals for the crankshaft and camshaft. Bottom line, the car is once again "alive"!

DID NOT CONTAIN TENSIONER SPRING! Please buy a new spring it’s cheap. Other than that the kit is great! Surprised it included a thermostat gasket, everything top tier, even has replacement date sticker

Great, high quality, bundle with almost everything I needed for my 97' Camry. The only thing they would need is the tensioner spring and thermostat gasket for a complete kit. While you're down there, don't forget your camshaft, crankshaft, and oil pump seals. The outer pump seal is notorious for hardening and leaking so use a new one and seal it in there with some Ultra-Gray.

For the do it yourself home mechanic, changing a timing belt can be daunting if you have never done it before . The last thing one needs, are replacement parts that are not compatible or of dubious quality; these are high quality to do the job right for many different Toyota models. Make sure you order the correct kit for your car first, then buy the tools you need, and study the workshop manual or watch the YouTube videos showing how others do the job, and take your time. The parts in this kit did not give me any headaches: the quality is apparent in the build. Made by Japanese OEM manufacturers and without the added cost from the local Toyota parts supplier, I expect that they will last at least as long as needed until the next timing and water pump change. That is, if my 1999 RAV4 with 347,000 miles makes it another 100,000 miles. Knock on wood...

Perfect fit every thing you need to do your timing belt

I did this timing belt on a 1997 Rav4. It had most of the items needed to do the complete job. I went to the dealer to grab a few more seals that are exposed in the process. The parts fit well and the job went fairly smoothly. It is not the easiest timing belt job to do (very tight space). This kit uses original equipment style parts so you can be sure once the car is apart you can get it running again soon with as few trips to the parts store as possible. I only wish the kit had included all of the oil seals. Not every mechanic will replace these though. I happen to be a bit nervous about putting a brand new timing belt next to oil seals that have 100,000 miles on them. Good luck on yours.

This was an important set to me. My water pump failed, which busted the timing belt (which was likely replaced less than 60k miles prior just based on appearance...). My set came with Koyo idlers, good gaskets, and a Mitsuboshi timing belt (made in the USA, if anyone's curious). And, of course, the Aisin water pump, which had the word "TOYOTA" scratched off of it. Well, what can I say other than this set has worked great. The only thing this set could use is a tensioner spring (BUY A NEW TENSIONER SPRING EVERY TIME YOU BUY A KIT LIKE THIS), which is something worth replacing even IF it looks good. For my 3S-FE for a 1989 Camry, the proper OEM spring is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001G7DAW6 but of COURSE check your specific engine, model, car, and year to make sure. As far as I am concerned... call your local Toyota dealership for the spring before you look online. Trust me, I'd rather have THIS water pump/timing belt kit than a knock-off pump/belt kit which DOES come with the tensioner springs.
