Rockland Milan Hybrid Spinner Wheel 3 Piece Luggage Set (20"/24"/28"), Brown

So far so good. I got this luggage set the other day and everything seems great. It's hard to give a good review without using them a few times first. But after I use the luggage a few times I'll up date my review in a coupon months. From just looking at the luggage and feeling them, they seem very strong and durable. The wheels seem great, they spin around so easily and smooth. I like the handles, they feel pretty strong and look great. One thing to point out is that they call this luggage brown, it's not very brown looking, it's more like a gray-ish color. I think it looks pretty good, but just to note, it is a little different than the picture. I do wish there were more exterior pockets, but they do have the nice big pocket on the front of them, and the inside of the luggage has pretty good organizers. All in all I'm pretty happy with this luggage as of right now and I would recommend it

We chose this set after two others that we ordered turned out to be out of stock once we placed the orders. I'm so glad that happened, because I could not be happier with these pieces. We spent 11 days traveling all over Ireland without a single issue. The color is stylish without being obnoxious, and is great for hiding travel wear and smudges. These bags are easy to spot on the carousel without adding tacky straps and ties. The wheel placement made me nervous at first, but we had no problems at all, even over cobblestones. I loved the way they handled - so much easier to steer than 2-wheel luggage. We also loved the internal and external structure. All 3 pieces are identical, which is perfect for us. The dividers and pockets inside were great for hopping between a different B&B or hotel every day while keeping items separate and easily accessible. The exterior pockets were very handy for holding out tasting "certificates" and other touristy stuff. Finally, the solid base and back gave us confidence that our fragile items would be safe on the trip home, and they were! We look forward to more trips with this luggage.

The product has poor quality, the zipper broke in two of the cases on the first use. It is a waste of money.

I bought this luggage for my recent trip to Asia. Given the cheap price, I was a bit worried, but I couldn't be happier. In terms of durability, the luggage has (so far) survived 8 flights (some long-haul), without even a scratch. I was most worried about the wheels, but they are all still functioning like new. I think the partially hard, and partially soft(er) exterior of the bag help to keep it from cracking, like other hard-cases tend to do. I really like the colour (purchased the brown). The bag also has lots of room for longer trips. Another plus is that the bags are easy to spot on the luggage belt, as they differ from the sea of black bags. All three bags fit nicely into each other for storage as well. All-in-all - I love my purchase, and would recommend these bags to anyone.

I purchased this for a domestic airplane trip. I thought the larger piece would be heavier, adding extra weight to the 50 lb check limit, but to my surprise the bag is quite light when it is empty. Each bag has a front pocket and a back pocket to hold travel documents and last minute items. I would have liked the front pocket to be just a 1/2 inch longer to fit an 9 X 12 envelope. It almost fit...I had to fold down the envelope about a 1/2 inch to fit it and zip the pocket. I checked the largest bag at the airport and carried on the smallest one. I liked how I was able to simply glide the carryon through the narrow airplane isle. It fit nicely in the overhead. The larger piece that I checked travelled very well. No damage, no dings. I was afraid the fabric would get cut or damaged, but it did not. Earlier, before checking the bag, I thought I had broken the zipper trying to force it closed when it was overstuffed, such that the two zipper pieces split apart. But using the other zipper I was able to open the bag and redistribute the items. Then I was able to re-zip the bag and the zipper self-repaired itself. The luggage in my opinion is more gray than brown. Overall, I love the set and it performed well for my trip.

So far so good with this luggage. I have flown several flights with a couple of the suitcases and zippers, wheels, and handle have all survived. No obvious exterior damage from bag handlers. I like the front zipper pocket, a nice feature that the full poly carbonate suitcases don't have. Color is nice - not the typical black clone suitcase at the carousel. Weight is good, I definitely noticed it with the smallest carry on. I would recommend these for the air traveler. Update Oct 25. 2015 - still holding up strong after several flights, most with checked luggage. I bet I use the middle sized bag 3 times a month, the other 2 once a month or so. Zippers, wheels and handles are all still good. No cracks in the hard shell portion or scratches. I'm still very happy with the set. Only thing to get used to is that the each side is half the suitcase (all cloth set had zipper on an edge not the middle) so it doesn't fit well on the typical hotel luggage rack. Not a bit deal but something I've had to get used to.

Overall I love the sizes of all three pieces, they all hold much more than I anticipated. I got what I paid for as far as durability, I travel 3-4 days out of the week so I go through luggage quickly. These look nice and have held up well. THE BIGGEST issue is the zippers are not well made. They are not sturdy and take lots of coaxing to zip correctly which TSA agents don't do well. One piece has a completely broken zipper after 2 uses. I am attempting to use the warranty to get it fixed! Wish me luck.

Love these cases. Has the best of both worlds - hard side and soft side. Has been used on multiple trips and even though showing some wear from being tossed about at the ports and airports - still looks good and wheels allow easy handling. Have recommended to friends who were looking to update their luggage.
