How many seeds total are in the 125 varieties combined?

It depends on the plant. Some it was about 14 and some it looked like 60. Small seeds, there was a lot of. Bigger seeds, less. It looks more like it was packed by volume or weight instead of numer of seeds.

How long have these seed been sitting in the packaging before its at my door? Im looking to store seeds for years instead of using them right away.

When you open the can there is bag and neither one has a date so I don't how old there seeds are. I purchased a smaller version of these seeds 3 years ago and they currently growing nicely in the garden. I plan on keeping these seeds for a long time and I will probably buy more. Hope that helps.

They are packaged for 5 years, as long as you store them in a cool dry place, of course.

What year are these seeds?

they are generally that year but a year or two is OK the germination rates drop after a few years keep in mind the container is air tight, light proof and dry so in theory like the seeds in King tuts tomb you may still have viable seeds after quite a few years. one fruit can provide for many hundreds of seeds, how many seeds in a tomato or watermelon or ear of corn..... you only need 1 viable seed to get dozens or hundreds more buy yourself a seed collection and preservation book and start collecting air tight containers I did
