Excellent product. They light up when in contact with water. Float them in a bowl, and they come on instantly. Or arrange them them in jam jars. When guests are about to arrive, fill the jars with a watering can, and the light come on. No more fiddling with matches. They last for many hours. To switch off, empty out the water, and use again. Brilliant idea.

Obviously they are not real floating candles but they are, however, a lovely substitution for the real thing. Just as described they only light up when in contact with the water and immediately turn off once taken out. They lasted the full 8hrs of our event in August and there is life still in them (I hope for the next in December). They offered a safe and beautiful ambiance to our party, especially when the night came in and the room lights were dimmed, they gently lit each table with a warm glow......LOVELY. VERY child friendly.

I wanted floating candles for a romantic first new year's surprise for my partner, together with some other ideas. These seemed a good idea, good reviews, and I liked the idea that they turn on automatically when in water, and turn off when out of the water... or so they said... They looked great, and worked well, and seemed to last a long time on the first evening used. However, I found some did NOT turn off when out of the water. I dried the bases (there are two, flush with the base, metal pins that when shorted by water [or a moist finger] I had to unscrew the bases of many of them, and shake out water, some of which was unfortunately a rusty brown colour. Some wouldn't turn off at all, and others wouldn't come back on. So eventually I tried drying them (open) on a paper towel on the radiator. This seemed to revive (and or stop the lit ones from staying on). so good but not without problems

I love that there is no turning on/off. Just place them on top of the water and they turn themselves on, remove and dry them and they turn off. I have played with a few and find them entertaining - easily pleased obviously. I like they have a warm light and a little bit of flicker. I cannot comment yet on battery life, which is a concern, but we shall see over the Christmas period.

Ordered 3 packs of 24. They looked great but 10 of them were not functioning unfortunatley

These look very cool in the clear glass vases we are using for the wedding. Soft warm white brightness.

Toll!!!!! Hätte nicht erwartet, dass das mit dem Wasserkontakt so super funktioniert 😍❤️ ich habe jetzt nicht geguckt, ob man die Batterie wechseln kann, auf jeden Fall trotzdem 5 Sterne!! Vorallem ist das super, wenn man ganz schnell was romantisches Planen und ausführen möchte ❤️❤️

Arrivé en temps et en heure et en bon état. Fonctionnent parfaitement je les ai toutes testées. Sur ma photo, le pot de gauche n a pas d'eau, la bougie est éteinte, dans le pot de droite la bougie flotte sur l eau, elle s allume au contact de l eau. N essayez pas de trouver un bouton on/off en dessous, il n y en a pas. Je suis satisfaite

They are perfect floating tealights. I love that you just place them in the water and they light up! No more having to go around with a lighter and then worry about the water making the flame go out. They are very convenient and look great! I only wish they came in different sizes, bigger ones would be great. I had to place 3 in the taller vase so that it would look nice. I definitely will buy more in the future. I have only used them once so not sure how durable they are yet. They did last about 4 hours in the party I used them in and are still lighting up so far.

and some lights have battery down so buy spare batteries for them ag 10 batteries
