Jandy Genuine Parts Water Pressure Switch only kit, R0013200

Used this to replace a 17 year old original pressure switch. I used 2 cc of SAE 30 oil, wired it up and used Teflon tape on the fitting. While I was in the heater I took time to remove all the spade plug connectors and cleaned the terminals of corrosion using a flat file and 300 grit sandpaper. The terminals get oxidized over time and increase resistance at the connections. Take pics of the wires if unsure where to reconnect before you do that though. Overall job took an hour to do which included backwashing my filter element. I also checked the high limit switches to make sure they were ok. A multimeter comes in handy. This saved me hundreds!! Was facing $3500 installed for a newer JXI model.

This worked great to replace a rusted and leaking switch on my Jandy pool heater. The switch was leaking a large amount of water and the heater would not work. Replaced with this one and now everything works fine. replacement was easy. Only needed a half inch wrench and some teflon tape to remove the old switch and install the new one.

I chose this rating because this little item allowed me to have perfect operation of my Teledyne Laars 15 year old propane pool heater that the local gas line expert could not diagnose. After installation of a new propane gas valve for the heater, it still did not function, and I was told the valve was the problem and should be sent back. After internet searching and speaking with a Zodiac representative (new owners of Jandy), a techie friend and I found the old pressure switch to be defective. I purchased this from Amazon, installed it according to printed and Zodiac verbal instructions -- amazing, heater turned right on and has operated without incident since. As others have noted, the item actually sold and delivered is a newer version and not the white ceramic switch pictured here. Apparently the newer Jandy propane pool heaters do not need the oil in the line this switch is to be attached to. Zodiac technicians confirmed my heater needed the oil in the line, and to make sure it was a non-detergent product.

I ordered this item and found it didn’t include the brass fitting that allows you to mate the water line to the switch. Without that piece (as shown in the picture) you cannot use it. Be sure your part has that brass fitting or you’re wasting ur time.

Was having a problem with my pool heater and this switch was the culptret, the old one was leaking and no longer fuctional. Was easy to install and fixed my pool heater in a matter of minutes. Anyone can replace one, and plenty how to instructions on line if you really need them.

Used to replace the original pressure switch on my Laars Lite swimming pool heater. Installed in seconds and worked perfectly.

Works fine. Straight forward to replace and install. This version looks very different than the original part on the Laars Lite 2. This one has an ajustement valve on it.

Although the part didnt fix my issue, it was the right one and was a great price and shipped super fast. Notorious for failing so at least I have a spare.
