Fill In Powder - Dark Brown (Pack of 2)

First I want to say, that is product is great. That being said let me explain why. I am a 27 year old mother of three and years of hormonal issues, damage to my hair and child birth left me with very thin hair, and now parts of my scalp are visible through the front of my hairline. Being a woman, I can't just shave it off or put a hat on my whole life. Also, I am not a wigs, extensions person. I saw other products on Amazon similar to this, some of them a lot more expensive but I went ahead and took the leap with this. Ok, so when I first received it, it was NOT in great condition, meaning the pallet was completely shattered. However, I contacted the seller and they immediately sent me a new one. The residue from the powder is VERY adhesive, I mean when I opened it some of dropped on my light chestnut colored dresser and I had to scrub it off. This is a bad thing for my furniture but great for my scalp. One thing I was worried about was that I would put this on and accidentally touch my hair and then my face and I would give away my secret. That didn't happen. Day 1- I applied it generously to my thinning areas and it covered all of it naturally. I spent an entire day with it, and it did not sweat off onto my face or rub off on my hands. Day 2- Even after washing my hair, there was still a lot of it left on my scalp! This was great for me because I wouldn't have to reapply so much of it again. Now, here's the thing, the package says that the powder itself contains procapil. After doing some research I found out procapil helps to stop hair loss by blocking DHT and enhances the scalps ability of cellular binding giving your hair strength and the ability to manufacture healthier hair. I have only used this for a week now so I won't be vouching for if this product will help with hair growth, nor does the package speak in great detail about it but if I notice any changes I will update. - Paying customer, true review. I was not given anything for free to talk about, you just never know with Amazon these days.

This stuff works great. Best if you tap the brush on your grey roots, rather than brushing across in my experience. I have recommended it to others and everyone loves it. I have dark brown hair.

Wonderful-for balding spots as well!! I've been using x-Fusion (and other name brand "filling/thickening" keratin sprays for balding spots for at several years...but while these are helpful-they can also be messy...falling on my face, scalp, in front of my ears, etc. My mom has had similar experiences. (Even when we used the face shield). Plus, often times the x-fusion [and other similar products] sit on top of our hair--(like a dusty table top that needs polishing). HOWEVER, THIS IS A MIRACLE PRODUCT!!! Though developed for gray starting to "show"-It is AMAZING for balding spots. You can dab just the amount you need,exactly where you need it. The amount used is significantly less (which is great both for cost usage issues-but ALSO...)~it is less likely to clog hair follicle insertion points on your scalp...WHICH IS HUGE---since clogging these areas can just lead to more balding. I WILL ONLY USE THIS PRODUCT forevermore!!! THE COST is less than other sprays... The CONNIVENCE is remarkable (I.e.--like for carrying it in your purse). BUY THIS TODAY! You WILL BE SOOOO GLAD YOU DID! (I did BIT receive any compensation for this review--I truly care about others struggling either the same issue). Though this review is long-I still feel wordless in describing it!!! YOU WILL GAIN SUCH CONFIDENCE, YOU WILL HELP YOUR SCALP, YOU WILL SAVE B O T H TIME and MONEY, YOU WILL HAVE MINIMAL to NO MESS... A N D MORE! (Sharing this as a merely as a fellow middle aged woman dealing with balding...as I know how hard it is and I care)!!!!

This product works really well, I was surprised. I thought it would be messy and look silly but it really does fill in the spots where your hair is thinning. Essentially making it so that the thin spots look less obvious.

Because I suffer from severely thinning hair, I first tried this brush-on powder about two years ago. I'm still using it and wouldn't want to ever go without it! It colors my scalp in patches where no hair is growing and makes my balding spots seem to completely disappear! It's natural looking and easy to apply. I suggest using a mascara wand or the included brush by brushing up loose powder and applying it with an up and down motion rather than brushing it on. I place the powder exactly where I need it by applying it in this manner. I also suggest selecting a darker shade if you are between shades as it comes in a shades very slightly on the light side. I have dark blond hair but found the blond shade to be much too light for my hair. This product is simply amazing on its ability to make one look like you have a full head of hair. I know I will keep purchasing this until and if my hair grows back!

It works very well covering bare spots on scalp !

I have minimal graying and wanted something to cover up gray roots between coloring but this doesn't work like I would have expected, covers the grays minimally, takes quite a bit of effort to cover and I really don't have a ton of gray. I expected better.

Product arrived with one item damaged and the other one missing from the packet!

Good product; does the job as it should. I have both this, and the much more expensive Joan Rivers brand. This works equally well as the Joan Rivers brand. So no need to purchase the more expensive one, unless you can't match your color closer. I would like to see this brand in grey ( the brown works fine, but grey or 'salt and Pepper' would be a better match, for me anyway).
