This is a very useful item that your athlete will not outgrow. It's also lightweight and convenient to carry around so your athlete can bring it with them wherever they want and practice on it anywhere they want. My daughter uses it to help her develop her turns for gymnastics. In doing this, it helps build her core strength and balance, which also makes her a stronger competitive rock climber. I am so glad that I discovered this tool for her as it's one of those items that I never knew she couldn't live without until she had one. Turning on the beam has been a challenge for her from the beginning. She lacked confidence and didn't understand how to tighten her center and turn without throwing her body around. Since she has been using this, she has learned the right way to turn and built her confidence on these skills for the beam and the floor. It's made me so happy to see her enjoy turning on the beam now instead of dreading it.

Exactly what my daughter need to practice her spin. Product appears to be durable and just the right balance.

The product its self is very helpful but the board is narrow but long. I thought the pirouette guide book was an actual book but it is an e-book. Overall great product.

Works so well for ice or roller skating practice of spins. Well made and sturdy.

My 8 yo got it for Christmas. She is really liking ice skating, and is constantly practicing her turns. This will definitely help her for sure!

Update: Great customer service. They took care of the issue I was having right away. I recommend this seller. It worked well for 2 weeks of about 15 minutes a day. The mark on the floor was washable but now the board slides as my daughter uses it as it lost the friction needed to spin and hold in one spot. I would not recommend unless mine was a defective product.

We loved this initially until we realized that it was scratching our wood floor. It would be great if you can use it on a tiled, not scratchable surface but if you only have wood, I’d be very cautious. My daughter, who is a gymnast but loves to dance, did love it and had fun practicing her turns.

I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who has shown an interest in ice skating. My other daughter is in ballet and they both use it. I might even have to purchase another one so that they don’t have to fight over when each of them can use it. We have all seen an improvement in the way they are able to hold their bodies while it spins.
