Annmarie Skin Care Coconut Honey Mask for Dull, Dry & Sun-Damaged Skin

I keep it on my dressing table at home and sample sizes in my office desk plus another sample size in my winter coat. Others keep them in their car, I keep one in my bike panniers. Indispensable for keeping lips moist in wind gusts. Very effective and indubitably SAFE. Beyond that, it soothed calluses skin, is a moisturizing 'mask' for facial skin before showering, and reportedly edible- so keep one handy in emergencies!

I never leave reviews but this is such a great mask I had to say so. Love how it makes my skin /face look and feel.

The jar is small and solid and for the quantity that comes for $39 plus shipping, it's seems a rip off to me, and here's why: If you buy you favorite jar of organic coconut oil, combine it with organic raw honey, you got yourself the same mask, known for civilization for years and years. The beewax, if anything, makes it drier and clearly not vegan and the vanilla powder is purely for scent and can be added or not. I suppose due to the beewax it didn't feel as nourishing as it should. I will finish this tiny one and make my own at home. If you want to feel fancy, order a refillable cosmetic container from glass and fill it with your recipe of the mask, and there you have it, only much, much cheaper.

Ok, I’ll start by saying that I don’t spend a lot on make-up and beauty supplies so I’m probably not the most impartial when judging the price. I was surprised at how small the jar actually was. Yes, I know that the volume is clearly stated but I guess I wasn’t correlating the size with the price. So, that aside, I found that I did really like the face mask. It had a gentile exfoliant paired with moisturizers and has a nice calming honey fragrance. It is fairly solid in the jar, not something that will spill out, at least not at room temperature but maybe if it gets hot. It wasn’t difficult to get out, but it is not a cream that just swipes out. The heat of my fingers and face softened it and it goes on fairly easily by gently rubbing it in. After at least 15 minutes it wipes away easily using a warm moist cloth. It left my face well moisturized and smooth. I use it at night and even in the morning my face is still well moisturized. Apart from the cost I did really like this mask. Not sure that I can justify purchasing it again but, as I said, I don’t normally purchase expensive beauty products. If I did, I certainly would consider this one.

This mask made my skin feel so soft and refreshed! It smells like delicious coconut and honey, and feels so good on my skin. I can instantly feel the hydration effect kicking in the minute this touches my skin! I leave it on for 15-20 minutes before rinsing it off. My skin is left feeling soft and nourished. I love that this mask is made with safe, organic, cruelty-free ingredients. I feel much better using a product that isn’t loaded up with a bunch of unnecessary chemicals. The coconut and honey in this mask work hard to moisturize and leave my skin feeling-baby smooth. It also doesn’t hurt that the mask smells amazing- almost good enough to eat! If you suffer with tired and dry skin, the honey and coconut in this mask will make it look and feel its best!
