The Antler Box Premium Elk Antler Dog Chews (1 Pound Box) (Small (7-8 Pieces) Whole/Split Mixed)

These are excellent antler pieces! They are very much like the natural sheds I used to find years ago while living way out in the country. Being whole pieces, not sliced down the center, they last almost forever! I have big dogs, Rottweilers and mixed breed pitbull types, who seem to be able to chew through just about anything, these antler pieces are so hard that they last a long, long time. As soon as I opened the box I had 4 of my dogs waging their tales waiting for a chew ( I only purchased 3 so one had to wait her turn). The pieces are of good size, not the little pieces that I've received from other companies. My biggest cheer, Bonnie, has spent hours chewing away at the largest antler piece we received and has only knawed off a bit of each end. These are a great product and I will definitely be buying more!

We purchased a box of large split pieces and both my dog and I were not disappointed! I’ve purchased several different brands (inexpensive and expensive) and the Antler Box are by far the best. We received 3 large pieces per the description and gave one to our pitty/staffy mix right away. He took to it immediately and it’s his favorite chew. It’s been several weeks with hours of chewing and the first is still going strong. This box will last us awhile. Each piece is big enough for our 70lb dog to hold in his paws and get a good grip on as he gnaws away. The marrow is thick and well exposed. The pieces are even big enough to play tug with (well, he wants to play tug and “keep away” with a sloppy, slippery antler! We give in because he’s so cute of how “proud” he is if his chew!) When I read the bad reviews, I don’t think the reviewers read the description very well. These are elk antlers which are larger and heavier than deer antlers so there’s going to be less pieces per pound. There is no way you’ll find nicer antlers online or in big box pet stores. If you don’t want to pay for quality chews, don’t get a power chewer breed. When our dog is done with this box, I’ll definitely be repurchasing. I also plan to get a small-size box for my mom’s pug who lives to chew just as much as our pitty.

The whole antler chews are great. My dogs love them and they last a long time. Tried the half antlers first but they cracked and splintered.

I want to give these 5 stars so badly but I really need to complain about one thing... First though: The antlers,have given my newest pup something to,crib her,chewing as she is teething and,began turning furniture into chew toys. Gave her one of these and she only chews on antlers now. My package came with a split antler and a full antler. My middle aged dog is 3 and he lobes chew toys still but gave up even attempting to chew the full antler (he is over 100 lbs too) because he couldn't get to the marrow. He ended up stealing the pups and chewed about 1/4 of it before giving up on it too. My elderly dog also liked the pups split antler but gave up on it too... Unfortunately, the marrow part caused her gums to bleed. :( My 3 year old dog became a father on Nov 6th. As part of the puppy pack I made for the pups we get from the litter, as a stud fee, I decided to give out antlers to the new owners to help discourage their pups from chewing... Because I needed to find smaller versions and wanted to buy 3-4 at a time, I ended up going with a different brand. That brand's came in 4-5" split elk antler packs of 3. I ordered 2 packs, so that I could give each pup one and then have some for my dogs too. These ones were split in either 3rds or 4ths... These were a HUGE hit with all 3 of my dogs I have here. My elderly dog's gums did bleed a little still, and my pup's teeth have been coming out as she chews the antler, but she is teething so that is to be expected... The 3 year old dog loves that the marrow is more exposed and he chews for 30 min plus and barely makes a dent but it has definitely stopped the negative chewing and boredom behaviors. I will say though, if all other things were created equally, ie if this brand sold them in packs where there were no whole antlers, the packs came woth 3 split ones that were split either into 3rds or 4ths, and the price were the same, I would choose this brand. The other brand came in a bag you would buy treats in from a box store type pet store. These,came in a really nice box and were displayed nicely in the box. These are great dor gifts and I would have loved to send one of these in a box with each pup but these were not cheap enough to buy in individual packs of 4-5" split antlers and they werent offered at all with all split/no whole, in that size and quantity. I would really love to see this,company offer them in puppy pack-individual pack types where you can buy them with the boxes in bulk (sets of 3 (1 in each of 3 boxes) so that people who breed dogs can buy them for the puppy packs/gifts that go with them. Honestly, this would be an excellent marketing tool as well. If each box came with a coupon off each new owners first order and a business card, every new owner would potentially be a new customer.

We love this product! The only chew product that holds up and doesn’t have our little one swallowing plastic. Great price and great shipping. Highly recommend.

I have a 9 month old Great Pyrenees. She is a chewer. If she can get her mouth on it she chews it! I was losing my mind trying to keep her occupied and trying to keep her from eating the house. I bought bags of different kinds of chews for her. She can finish just about any chewy in seconds. I was hesitant to buy these as they seemed kind of expensive, but in the middle of the night I was lamenting the loss of yet another precious object I clicked "Buy Now." A couple of days later I opened this box and I was so impressed with the quality of the product. SO WAS MY DOG! She chewed for an hour without stopping, passed out for an hour, and then woke up and started chewing again. Our other two dogs are equally as pleased. In two weeks I was ordering a second box. You might think this means they did not last long, but we have three dogs and one of them is a day and night chewer. These are worth every penny. Overnight my dog has stopped destroying my things. When she picks up something she shouldn't have, I take it away and give her an antler. I am so relieved when I wake up to her chewing in the middle of the night knowing that she is chewing her antler, NOT MY STUFF! These have become a staple in our home.

2 of the 3 were as expected, the other one is very thin. My dog splintered a piece off in just a few minutes so I had to take it away. I purchased based on my dog's weight and I will size up on them if I purchase again. My dog is plowing through them, so I don't expect these to last terribly long. Maybe I should not have bought the split ones? They do have a slight smell but nothing terrible. My dogs do love them but wish they were bigger and not so thin. One is no thicker than my thumb.

Got the split ones and they are nice and big for my medium sized Cross-Breed and Rhodesian Ridgeback. There were 3 in all, but because 2 were hefty, the 3rd ended up being tiny and was gone by the next morning. That’s ok… it is by weight after all. Will repurchase.
