A good product marred by shocking service
One might expect that for delivery of a pallet, that some details may be requested, or taken. Sadly this was all delivered a day before scheduled, and the pallet dumped and left in the middle of the road. Buyer beware of this.As for the product itself - it works as advertised but will require some thought when installing. The self-tap screws provided are both plentiful and clever in design (they'll punch through the wood and then tap home in to the metal frame also). I do wonder whether any removal of boards at a later date may weaken things, but that's to be discovered. The boards are perfectly fit for purpose, however, many may well have their tongues broken due to the shipping (above), being poor. These can be used for the ends and finishing runs. The boards are also not all exactly the same length. Whilst the difference is typically a few mil, it can be up to 5mm in practice. Once all is said and done, it should slot together *almost* seamlessly, but it's a point worth noting as you may be concerned when installing.Speaking of installation, this is pretty hard graft and best done *BEFORE* any additional topup insulation has been laid. Shifting old stuff about to make way is not fun. Whilst you could use string or a horizontal plumb-bob, we found that simply using the metal cross-beams made things easier. These beams are *SHARP* so you MUST wear protective gloves as there is zero rounding off on these, be careful. The amount of uprights and main triangle supports provided will definitely be short, so be sure to buy additional spares to go in. Most notably are the "I" shaped supports, which are around 10% light on numbers needed. It seems they have calculated the amounts required on the ideal installation and spacing of joists. Make sure you try to align the boards with the centre of the beams, but you will drift as the boards get laid, so it is important to start off as squarely as possible. Finally be warned that you should only punch screws through parts of the beams that do NOT have supports in situ - hence you must know where these are, which means running your hand underneath the area to find the supports. It's very difficult to place 6 screws in the end boards depending on how the joists have ended up forcing the supports to go, and sometimes even getting three screws in can be tricky. Sadly not any of this is in the videos on their website, so you just have to learn it as you go.The final point is typically when buying a pack like this from any other supplier, the supports and beams come in a nice box with carry handle. Don't expect that from here, it's just all part of the same pallet. Another poor cost saving exercise.Overall and once finished it's come up pretty nice, but required an awful lot of hard work (we did around 28m2 in two long days including trimming some boards and cutting around some vertically-angled joists), but when finished (and vacuumed!), the end-result is pretty good. Don't expect it to be like proper flooring as it will creak a bit, but for storage it's perfectly fine.

Brilliant quick system, well worth the money. JUST CHECK YOUR JOIST SEPERATION MEASUREMENTS.
This system is really sturdy and fast an allows for extra layers of insulation to be installed effectively. “JUST MAKE SURE YOU CHOOSE THE CORRECT SIZE METAL BEAMS”. Maybe worth looking on Loftzones website to ensure the metal beam “ends” land directly above the joists in your loft. The beams come in 1.8 or 1.2m lengths. And checking before you buy may save some time cutters and fitting.

Worth the effort for final result.
Not quite as easy to install as indicated when thick insulation is already in place. Either would need it completely removed and re installed, or partially removed and put back in place as you work along its length. Either option is not easy when you are losing headroom and working from crawling boards. Difficult to measure spacing of supports to get deal alignment. Once in place becomes very sturdy so worth this extra effort. I would still recommend the product.

Very easy to install
This is a very useful kit to increase attic storage space over loft insulation. The trickiest part is the installation of the first few floor boards , particularly if you have to work from outside the attic to complete their installation. Being able to drill into the metal beams simplifies things a lot as well and helps speed up the installation process.I believe a good quality battery powered drill is the best/easiest tool to use. Though if possible having a spare battery pack will be beneficial. From a Health and Safety perspective. If your installation is already laid across the attic floor remember to wear a mask and if necessary gloves.

Great product, easy to install
These kits are great -- my loft, in my new build house now offers an incredible amount of storage, and looks very neat too. The kit was delivered fast, and it was easy to install myself. The only slight negative is the delivery cost for additional items -- if purchasing one or two small items individually, the shipping cost is rather excessive I feel - but, the quality and ease of fitting is second to none. The loft insulation remains at its full height. Great product.

Good for ocassional DIYer
I don't think I could have done it any other way. I took me 6 days to do this on my own in a vey difficult attic. I had to get some extra screws and extra support
