86530 Metal Folding Tool for Duct Bending 12 x 3-Inch Folds Up to 24 ga CRSM and 28 ga Stainless

I had to make and install a good number of identical PVC flashing pieces for a pressure treated outdoor structure. This tool made it much, much easier and yielded an accurate and repeatable bend in PVC. Worked perfectly. Do know that it is intended to give a flange of a set width. The angle can certainly be varied but it isn't, by nature, that easy to make a flange of lesser width and still be accurate. For me, this was a plus as I got identical flanges all down the line so the job looks very even and professional. It also wouldn't tend to matter if one was doing fully folded over edging or similar. Good sturdy simple tool.

I used this to add drive hems to square ducting. Worked great. I dont think it would be possible with any other tool

Perfect, Straight and very sturdy

This tool saved me. I found huge gaps in my air return ductwork, but I could get a clean bend on the sheet metal I bought. I had never worked with sheet metal in my life or anything to do with HVAC repair, but it was simple with this tool. It seems to be well made. I don't see myself using this often, but if I ever needed to to in the future, I'll be glad I have it. It can put a 1-inch or 3/8-inch lip on the sheet metal. I don't know the proper name for it. I'm just a regular home owner, not an HVAC technician.

Well made and worked well. It’s a hand brake sooo… other than not being flimsy and durably coated with finish good quality at a reasonable price

Used to make a new drip pan under my camper ac united. Excellent bends. Very easy to maneuver

Great tool for small jobs, up too 6ft bends. Makes easy work of boxed window flashing.
