Easy to build Great for carrying a wheelchair

Product was delivered in good quality and was easy to fit. However now is rusting after only being on a coupke of weeks

Build quality and design is excellent!Took me about 2hrs to fit to roof bars.What it doesn't say in the add is that it appears to be designed for adjustable roof bars .ie. can be slid forward or back in the roof groove. We have a Peugeot 3008 2015/2016 which has a fixed position for roof bars,no movement forward or backwards.I have managed to fit the rack to the rear roof bar but the front I have had to modify a little as the roof bar does not sit centrally with the bars on the rack,about 30mm out of line.I did not use the nuts provided I used standard Nyloc nuts as the thread was not long enough to screw in. Before purchasing you need to check that your roof bars can slide forward/back!

Excellent piece of kit. Strong enough to carry a spare wheel..

The rack is ok if you are going to repaint it before you fit because if it rains it will leave rust stains on your car roof because of the poor paint finish. the packaging is poor also no protection between the parts so by the time you get it more paint will be scratched off

Good roof rack. Easy to install. Good size

fast delivery was good till when putting it together found one of plates that holds it together was missing( part numb 9) . only way to get fix problem was to get replacement unit and at xmas not going to happen so made a plate myself out of stainless steel ,also found brackets don't fit properly fixed roof rack on a Kia sportage .Rack useful and a descent unit but could have done without the hassle..

It’s a lovely piece of kit and reasonably easy to build if you don’t think about it too hard. Doesn’t really fit aero bars particularly easily and really doesn’t fit as it is meant to on a Honda CR-V mk2 as the bars are fixed spacing, have had to fit front section on one bar as a pose to letting the plastic clip grip 2... it’s a real shame but I will persevere and see if I can fashion a better front mount.. but beware, seller needs to advertise maximum roof bar spacing..

This roof top basket is the perfect add on item for my small Jeep. It mounted perfectly to the existing cross bars and gives me the additional cargo space I needed to haul around all of my gear. This basket is well built out of steel and is well designed to be aerodynamic. It was simple to assemble and even easier to mount. When using this rack and Vault's straps, I know my cargo is safe for the long haul.

The roof basket seems of good quality and assembly was straight forward. Be aware the screws needed to install the side and back plate are included but it can be confusing as to which ones they are as some will come will bolts attached which are not needed for the plate install, but are needed for the deflector install. I installed this on a set of Vault base bares and was concerned as to how difficult it was to get the included brackets installed over the base bars. But, it is all together now and seems to be fine in terms of strength. I drove the vehicle (VW Atlas) around to check on wind noise, and there is some. Once loaded it is assumed the noise level will change.

It barely fit my 2015 Subaru Crosstrek XV just a heads up and the screws on them rust rite away so I suggest getting water resistant screws or painted ones if you xan find them.
