Fiskars 32” PowerGear2 Garden Bypass Loppers, 2" Cut Capacity Tree Trimmer

Very sturdy. I don't know how some reviews said this broke while using it. I seriously doubt that. Its very sharp and uses the leveraging of physics that would make a profesor proud. Update 7/14/26: I wanted to continue to share my thoughts on this tool, which continues to impress me—it has already easily paid for itself. I noticed a review mentioning that the curved bottom blade makes it difficult to get branches into the opening. In my experience, the benefit of this design is that once a branch is inside the cavity, it is locked in and guaranteed to be cut. While using it is a learned skill, it easily cuts branches up to 1 inch in diameter.

I am blown away by how well these work. I've only used the big scissor looking cutters before and those weren't cutting it. I ordered these to take care of some branches that hang over my yard and it cuts through them like butter - almost no effort required. Highly recommend them.

Love them for cutting larger diameter bushes and very sharp but only draw back is that they are heavy and your arms may get tired and you need to open the handle wide to cut the limb. I would still buy them! Very well made

Very sharp and heavy Duty. But took off a star because they are hard to use up in a tree canopy, it's too tight to open the handles all the way. But they do cut thick branches with ease with the long handles.

These work exactly as advertised. They easily cut 2" diameter branches. Love the geared action that makes cutting a breeze. Less expensive here than at big box hardware stores where I would still wait for them to be shipped to store.

It is very satisfying to use this product. I am over 70 so made note of the ease of use with taking down and trimming a number of and variety of shrubs and limb sizes. Once you grip the branch it will come off.

Easily cuts branches 1 1/2 inches. Larger branches are tougher to cut but that is expected at maximum cutting capacity. The blades/jaws are sharp and remain so after a couple months
