Used these to cut 1/2” rebar for a landscaping project. These worked much better than standard metal cutting blades. Standard blades will lose teeth after 1-2 cuts. The carbide tipped blades lasted 4-5 times as long before losing blade teeth.

Great for use on hardened bolts - 5 stars all day, every day.
I used this blade to cut some hardened adjustment cam bolts on my truck lower A-arms and it worked very well. I had to cut each bolt in 2 places. The first hardened bolt went very quickly - 2 cuts. The second took a little longer, same section of the blade as the first bolts - 2 more cuts. By the third, I had to adjust the stop on my reciprocating saw so that I was using some different teeth along the blade. The section I used for the first 2 bolts was not as sharp anymore. The 3rd and 4th bolt went the same as the first two. And by that time, the blade was about done. I still have it and haven't used it to cut anything else yet. I would definitely buy this blade again. After all, what I was cutting was 1/2" diameter hardened bolts and I don't think any other blade would've worked any better. I was happy to use this blade and that it "sacrificed itself" for the job I had. I work in an industrial manufacturing setting so I know that carbide doesn't last forever. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and I'd absolutely recommend this blade. Hope that helps.
