WenVen Men's Spring Canvas Military Style Jacket Casual Lightweight Cotton Coat

Bought this as a gift for my SO. Spent almost a week debating on the right size. He's 75kg (165 lbs), 1.70m (5'7') and the jacket I was looking to replace was 21 1/2 in chest (that'd be 43). He likes a loser fit. Now the medium according to the seller is: Chest 47.24, Length27.56, Shoulder19.69, Sleeve26.77. That's 5 more inches that I supposedly needed. Ultimately I ended up choosing the medium because I'd rather it ran large than small. But to my surprise, it fit perfectly. He was very happy with it. The buttons look quite nicely, the inner lining, the stitching have a nice finish. It's not quite heavy for very low temperatures but its a very nice jacket for fall or in between seasons (with additional layers). Overall, I'm quite happy with the purchase and so is my SO, he wears it almost everyday.

I am 6'5", 200 lbs, and I found this jacket to be a perfect fit. Zips well, and I like the position of all the pockets. A jacket I can wear well in the Spring and Fall. I may even buy another one, but different color. And a great value, too!

I have a hard time finding fitting jackets and long-sleeve shirts, so I wanted to share some fit/cut notes about this item: This fits a little more like a blazer / suit jacket. The shoulders are cut narrow and low on the torso. This makes shoulder movement feel a little restrictive compared to something with a bit more of an athletic cut. Usually, this just means I ordered a size too small. However... The mid section of the torso is cut wider than the shoulders. I guess it has a bit of an old "bomber jacket" type fit if you ordered a size up. If you get something that's long enough in the sleeves and has more range of motion, it will be very "blowsy" in the mid section. The picture seems to indicate a straighter torso, so I felt it might be helpful to other folks looking at this jacket and assuming it might fit like a more modern technical jacket. In case it helps as a reference point: 6'2" 150#, 36" sleeve, 38" chest, 30" waist (actual measurements, not clothing sizes) I tried a medium Besides the odd fit, the materials and construction appear to be very well done for this price. It feels like it has a good balance of denim-like resilience and flexibility/softness. The seams all look good with nice reinforcements. The zippers are actually much better than most budget jackets these days. The snaps on the hand warmer pockets are an odd stylistic choice, but don't really bother me.

Great fit and looks good. Just have to iron out the wrinkles since it’s packed in an envelope.

Nice little jacket, fits well, has a casual knock around look. My only complaint is that the lining is cotton-like with almost a flannel finish. This makes it very cumbersome, and often uncomfortable, to put on. Twisted shirt sleeves, shirt just bunched up in general under the jacket.

I bought this for myself as I was looking for a men's 'barn coat'. It is a good 'in-between' garment- a little heavier than a light-weight jacket and not quite as heavy as a coat. I like the styling and pockets on this and it is very comfortable.

these jackets look great but they are poorly made and should be avoided. First wenven military jacket lasted me 3 months 'til it was torn all over the place. Wear and tear is normal for an active city person. Second wenven purchase of a similar military style jacket: on the first day, I put my hands in the front pockets (adding little to no pressure) and heard a loud rip. inner pocket also ripped on during first day or so with little to no pressure. looks great but the stitching is way too delicate. will not be purchasing this brand ever again.

The jacket is very thin, more like a shacket, which I find ideal for early fall (or autumn) or late spring. The sizing is very accurate, I weigh 95 kilos and there is no room for layering, but it's what I wanted. The color is very dark, at night it seems black. The fabric is very soft and flexible, and allows movement. Very happy with the purchase, maybe I'll buy in another color.

Great jacket! Nothing better than receiving a nice jacket that fits perfectly right out of the package! Perfectly tailored, high-quality jacket. Excellent standing collar, not oversized, gawdy looking. Fits around neck nicely, not too tight and constricting. Sleeves are perfect length as is the jacket itself. Pockets are adequate size for phones, etc. I can see this as my go to jacket for all occasions, every day wear. I'm very impressed. I usually wear an XL, for extra room. The XL fit like a regular Large would. I can still wear it but would be snug if I had a hoodie on.
