I have a problem. I'm guessing that you, if you're looking at watch boxes on Amazon, might have a problem too. My problem is too many watches and what to do with them. I started off with a cheapo 6-watch box. Then a 2-watch winder. Then a 4-watch winder (the Chiyoda winder above, nice but not perfect). Then I scrapped the cheap 6-watch box and bought the extremely nice Glenor "walnut" finish 12-watch box. This was it. No more watches. I was done. So of course two years later I was looking for another box. I don't need another 12-watch box (yeah, right) so I went looking for something nice and solid that would match my Chiyoda winder and would give me room for some of my other EDC stuff. The Lifomenz looked good. The $15 coupon looked REALLY good. I pounced. The Lifomenz box is nicely packaged in a perfectly giftable box with a card. Foam protects the fragile corners and glass. The finish is a nice matte "ebony" grain. Not to be confused with ebony wood or ebony veneer, it's basically an applique over MDF. For the price it's very good though, and the grain on mine was more subtle than the pictures on Amazon would seem to suggest. The black vinyl interior is free from any stray glue smears or finish issues. My example was free from the scratches on the metal pieces that some buyers have reported. The hinges open smoothly. The whole thing is really well made and sturdy. The pillows fit snugly, which keeps the watches from flopping around. The ring-holder section is perfect for rings, okay for cuff links and decent for tie clips. The open section really does fit two pairs of glasses with a little room to spare. Notice that mine doesn't have the "Lifomenz" plaque on the inside of the lid. Yeah, that comes right off. I don't want to have a plaque advertising what sounds like a non-prescription ED medication hovering above my nice watches. I'm funny that way, I guess. Overall the Lifomenz is a win. It's reasonably priced, well-made and attractive. When I buy my next watch box (not even trying to pretend I'll never need another watch box at this point) it'll be Lifomenz!

I researched literally a dozen watch boxes under $150. I knew this would keep me away from real wood, heavy boxes with locks, etc. This was a huge surprise for the price point - it was heavy, beautiful, and something i could keep for a long time. I ended up not keeping it b/c i decided I wanted a box with a drawer for a watch tool, and extra straps. But if i didn't have that need, i would have kept this. The wood/color was awesome. Looked/felt like real rosewood, it was heavy, and the hinges were solid and didn't feel cheap. It exceeded expectations and would recommend this to any guy if the shape works for you. It is on the longer side but if long is cool, it is really is awesome.

I bought this as a gift. The case really looks elegant and feels like nice quality. The hinges are far nicer than expected. The lid of the case opens smooth and quietly without difficulty staying open. The packaging is also well crafted in a brown, matte finish, sturdy box. The top of the packaging-box comes completely off, then the very front flap of the bottom box flips open/forward as well, so there is no struggle to remove the display case from its packaging. A small, blank greeting card is included (you can see it in the products photo.) Amazon had the best price for this item. I hope that once this product is in use, the hinges function as nice as they do now.

There are a ton of watch box options available on Amazon. I wanted something that would fit in with my mid-century modern decor, look modern without looking futuristic, and elegant without being ostentatious. This Lifomenz box was really the only one I found on Amazon that fit the bill. I knew I wanted a window on top, woodgrain, and room inside to hold extra stuff besides just straps. There are six cushions for watches to attach to that rest in individual compartments. There are two rows of holders for cufflinks, which isn't a big thing since I only own two pair. Then there's just open space where you can put bands, bracelets, jewlery, or whatever. The watch cushions and the rest of the inside is lined in what many sellers on Amazon call "PU Leather" which is actually vinyl. But, it doesn't feel terrible. You're not going to get full grain Horween leather at this price, but this is still nice. The top hinged part is hefty and substantial. Overall, this feels like it punches higher than its weight so far as value and luxury go. It comes packed in a box that when wrapped would make a pretty elegant gift. At the end of the day I'm glad my watch collection has a safe place where it can be shown off and admired.

This was to be a gift for my husband but upon arrival I realized that was indeed not actual wood. The case arrived in a beautiful gift ready box but had a chemical odor that would have needed some time to air out. The look of the box was spot on but I did end up returning it as I wanted genuine wood.

Great box with some flexibility. Although this box is designed for watches, rings and other jewelry, I can store 12 non-automatic watches and a few rings without modification. I have 6 watches on the individual slots, two sitting on the ring-storage slots with the case edge partially secured in the front slot, and four an bracelets that fit nicely in the front tray. All 12 faces are visible through the lid view window. The hinge mechanism is solid, and the case finish is a nice complement to my two 6-watch winder cases. It is a bargain at the price.
