Great antenna that works in rural area!
This is the 3rd antenna ive bought from this seller over the last few years for our family members. We live very rural in severe storm, tornado weather area so being able to see the local channels for weather updates is a must. Getting 8 to 10 channels is nice since they are free & this antenna does pull them in clear so its nice to be able to watch a movie or show without fading in & out. Antenna is quality packed & is easy to put together. They now offer a upgrade directional which I received & it brought in even more channels! This company stands behind their product & is fast to answer emails & help you if a problem arrises. They even have a extended warranty. I cant ask for a better company to deal with and I will continue to recommend them to family & friends.

Fantastic antenna, best HD reception I have ever seen
Fantastic antenna, best reception I have ever seen from such a small device. Receiving channels I have never seen before over 50+ miles away. Picture quality on 2 TVs is exceptionally sharp and clear. Voice audio and stereo sound is clear and works great. The step by step instructions provided made the installation quick and simple. The rotation aided in getting a strong over the air signal with little need for fine adjustment. I would most certainly buy this item again.

Simple assembly, great reception
Although it looks like a throw-back to yester-year, this unit works great with over-the-air reception. I was expecting to get the 23 or so channels my old antenna brought in. I was very surprised to get nearly 60. Of course we are on flat land, although there are trees about. I have this mounted just under 20' in the air, and most of the channels are very clear, and some extremely clear. Much clearer than my old antenna. One real plus is it can be rotated from my comfortable chair inside. On the other hand, there is no indicator showing it's direction, and one never knows what direction it will take when rotating. Fortunately for me I can stand at the back door and access the receiver through the door while watching the antenna rotate. I don't really care for the red light that stays on the receiver, and a good thing is it turns off with a switch so nights when I want that room dark I can turn it off. There is a light on the antenna as well, so the neighbors wonder 'what's that light up there?' and most of them never knew one could get over-the-air tv. Interesting. UPDATE: August 26, 2023 - The rotor motor for this stopped working about three weeks ago. I kept thinking maybe I had an issue with wires, or heat, or something, but it continues to refuse to operate. So unless there is something else wrong, you should expect just about one year out of the rotator motor, plus or minus time, as each unit has it's own limitation. I'm not real pleased about this, as we need to turn the antenna depending on what station we watch. One has to go outside and turn the mast by hand, which can be done, but at the cost of loosening the mounting clamp so as to permit movement. Not the best scenario.

Antenna works!!!
This antenna performs as advertised, is easy to assemble, and has the best customer service I have ever used. I have trees all the way around our property and still get a good signal!!!

I give PBD 5 stars + for solid product, value for money and customer service
Product does exactly as advertised. I never knew I could get so many free channels. The other suprise was the clarity of the picture....amazing clarity Vs. Dish!! I didn't realize how poor the picture was on my local channels via Dish until I compared. The last comment I will make is regarding the customer service. I had a plethura of questions plus wanted to purchase some additional accessories. My emails were replied to within the same day and the requested information was clear and concise. I was also able to get the promotional discounts, as advertised, on the additional accessories. I give PBD 5 stars + for solid product, value for money and customer service. Thank you PBD for an outstanding all around experience. Jim M.

Probably Adequate if Close to the Stations
tl;dr Will probably be fine if you live close to the television station but may not be powerful enough if you're 30 miles away or have lots of trees. I bought the PBD Outdoor Digital Amplified HDTV Antenna when I decided to cut the cord and get rid of satellite TV. I had zero experience with TV antennas, so I turned to my Facebook friends for recommendations. Two local friends recommended this antenna. My experience was not as great as theirs. It's comes basically assembled. I only needed to open the two rounded rectangular "wings" at the back—one of the aluminum tubes bent with the force needed to snap them into their plastic housings. Our package did not include the grounding block that was supposed to come with it, but we didn't notice until after we'd installed it. Seems important, though, so if you buy this, double-check that you've got a grounding block. Hubs was out of town when the antenna was delivered, so the boy and I got impatient and tested it out by setting it on the dresser by the window and plugging the coax cable into the receiver/tuner and then plugging the much-thinner attached cord (it's probably 1/3 the thickness of regular coax) into the TV. We plugged the power cord in and fired it up. I'm guessing the electrical power is for the rotor, which can be turned by either the remote control or the button on the actual receiver. We ran a channel scan and got a few channels... none of the local network stations, but we didn't expect much—the few we got encouraged us that we'd get them all once the antenna was actually up on the roof. Hubs installed the antenna on the roof with an extender pole (same company, different purchase). I used tvfool.com to get exact locations of the stations available to me (approximately 30 miles away) and hubs used a compass to point the antenna accurately. After a channel scan, we did pick up quite a few stations, but we never could get one of the network stations to come in clearly at all (lots of cutting out, pixelation, and ghosts), and we had to choose between two other network stations, as they are a few miles apart. Because the entire reason for getting an antenna in the first place was to watch NFL games on our local network stations, this was unacceptable. (Incidentally, when we bypassed the tuner/rotor and plugged the coax directly from the antenna into the TV, we got *more* stations (about 30), although still didn't get the networks. So the tuner is weak—at least, weaker than our 6-year-old TV's built-in tuner.) We ended up buying a larger, more traditional-looking antenna (a Stellar Labs 30-2370) and were able to get 70-something stations (that we care nothing about) and all four local networks that broadcast NFL games (all we care about).

Great signal and lots of channels
Easy to install, expect to have to buy staples to install the ground cable, and. Base. Anyways, i was able to install within 2.5 -3 hrs, I am getting 99 digital channels 🥹🤟🏻

Great reception and dont even have to use the motor part.
Easy to install and works great I'm 35/45 miles from Atl. And get many channels clear as can be with no issues. The last product from Televes kept blowing out twice a year at a much higher cost .So I'm sticking with PBD.
