I use on my Dustless vacum and this thing really protects my hook and loop pad!! Great for the price.

protects the pad on sander, not expensive, holds sandpaper disk very tightly

This protection pad is necessary in order to avoid the expensive alternative of needing to replace the sander backing pad ( a $55 part). It fits my Festool sander and it does not affect the great performance of the sander.

Works great with my Festool sander and lasts a long time.

Great adhesion and I bought it to use 3M Cubitron and the like. I also replaced the pad on my sander with the hard pad. In use I think the interface “softens” the sander pad, adds vibration if not perfectly aligned (and the Festool is so vibe free it’s easily discernible) and certainly doesn’t improve dust collection. It’s not terrible, and I just use a shop vac. But in the end I think I’ll just apply paper directly to the sander pad and accept the reduced life of the sander pad.

Great product

This works great to protect the main sanding disk. Not only is the vecro super sticky, when it wears out you can swap it vs a much more expensive part of the sander. I wore down the velcro just using it and made that mistake, then found these!
