I've ordered this product twice now and wouldn't use any other. It's pricy but if you like the flavor of black pepper and not just the heat, this is the one to get. I had stopped grinding my own pepper years ago because it just wasn't worth the effort. Now the pepper mill is used daily. This is a pepper that has an unbelievable depth of flavor you can't find in any grocery store, or get any of the catalogs that supply gourmet seasonings either! Whether you use it in a slow simmered chicken soup, flavor grilled steaks or put it on cottage cheese or fried eggs, it raises the flavor to a whole new level. As for packaging, it comes in a resealable airtight bag so you can easily store it upright if your pepper mill can't hold the full package at one time. Whether you buy it for your own use, or to include with a salt and pepper mill gift set, it won't dissapoint. I totally recommend it and the seller.

Surprise Pop of Flavors

I like pepper. I've shopped around over many years trying to make sure I had good pepper and a good pepper mill to grind it in. This Cambodian pepper has glowing reviews, so I thought I'd give it a try. It is about four times as expensive as the pepper I usually buy. And after a little experimentation, it tastes roughly the same to me. The smell of a bag is definitely better than the smell of my normal pepper, but when it comes to eating it, I can't really tell the difference. And since I think I buy good pepper, and this is roughly the same, that makes this good pepper as well. But the price tag is pretty high for something that doesn't taste better.
