Without a doubt the best coffee cup I've ever owned. Ive been using it every day for over 2 years and its be reliable. Keeps my coffee hot and doesn’t spill. Ive dropped the cup while full and it never spilled a drop. Easy to clean and worth every penny.

I have been a fan of Contigo since I bought my first "west loop" back in 2014. For someone that is on a computer keyboard much of my waking hours, a spill-proof coffee cup is a must and my Contigo has saved me from countless spills. I also golf. And the one-hand operation of the Contigo is a huge boon when pushing a cart and futzing with club as I walk. I even use Contigos at my bar as cocktail shakers/reserves when entertaining - nice to be able to prepare a guest a cocktail and have their second already chilling in an insulated Contigo! NOTE: an air-tight shaker is required for many cocktails containing seltzer like the legendary Ramos Gin Fizz - every serious mixologist should have Contigos at the bar for mixing and service. The locking mechanism is a nice feature if you plan to stuff your Contigo in a backpack (not something I do often but I can see the utility). Some caveats: These are water-tight containers so carbonated and even very hot liquids will require regular "burping" to release pressure or the Contigo can blow its top! And when sealing a Contigo, remember to press the button while you screw on the top to prevent over-flowing a full bottle. With this LUXE edition, Contigo has finally perfected their product. It is not only spill-proof (and great looking) but it is now dishwasher safe (silver model). Contigos are not indestructible, however. Eventually the seals will start to leak. Replacement gaskets are available and relatively easy to change out but I have found they rarely fix a leak. And that is why I am back (happily) buying two more today and felt I should write a positive review.

I noticed some less than stellar reviews of this mug - but I really can't understand why. I've had mine maybe 5 months now, and it's been nothing but fantastic. I can brew my coffee before work, and it's still warm at the end of the day - most times I don't let it last that long of course. But the mug can hold it warm - tried and tested many times. When going to the office, I have the mug on it's side in the outer pocket of my bag, not once has it leaked or even dripped - very good seal. Pressing the button to let your coffee out is a bit of a hassle to start with, but actually it becomes second-nature very quickly and it's actually quite useful - I've had my mug next to my computer and a couple times I've accidentally knocked it over and wasn't even the least bit concerned of a leak. The seal and construction really is good. Except the noise it made because of the heavy construction - and my colleagues staring at me - my computer was safe. I observe one review saying the paint would peel off - I can assure you it doesn't at all, I've used a dishwasher, hand wash and not one single pant peel. The only scratch mine has is because I dropped it from 5 foot when I placed it on my hand railing and it fell onto concrete and even then it only scratched it didn't even dent - it's sturdy and strong. One last thing - it fits the car cup holder perfectly (many don't). Anyway, for the price - you can't go wrong in my opinion.

I am over the moon with how good this product! Excellent quality and I love the fact that it is dishwasher safe. Makes life a lot easier for regular clean-ups. Keeping drinks warm has been fantastic! It’s in my backpack almost everyday now and it’s just great! A few minor scuffs but otherwise top notch product!

I bought this because I wanted the locking feature, and easy clean lid. So far it's great, keeps my coffee warm on the daily train commute to work. I also love it at home, lets me sip my coffee for hours without it getting cold. Easy to clean, I prefer to handwash as I typically wash at the office once it's empty, but I've put it in the wash a few times with no complaints.
