Best Starter Grill
A fantastic starter grill! My wife purchased this for me for Father’s Day and I love it! The size is great and it was easy to put together. I love how portable it is with the wheels. Cleaning was a breeze and food came out tasty.

Great Grill
I got this Grill have had it for about one week. My first impression of it was that it was bigger than I expected. It's massive. After I got over it's size, it was time to set it up. Set up was pretty easy, under half an hour. The instruction booklet is all diagrams with no words but it's still pretty clear what to do. The only problem with set up was I had to use some grease to get the legs into their slots, otherwise I would have had a hard time getting them in and I was worried they might bend or break. Since I got the grill I have used it three times. The first two times I used it for two or three people using the direct heat(standard) method. The food cooked quickly and evenly, and the flavor was really good. Food cooked on a gas grill doesn't taste the same. The third time I used the grill was for a party with about forty people. I used the indirect method, which turns the grill into a convection oven, to roast a four pound leg of lamb. Then I kept turning out steaks, chicken, burgers and corn until my guests were begging for mercy. At one point I had seven chicken cutlets and two london Broils on with room to spare. Everything about the grill functioned well, including the mechanism which enables you to clear the ashes by turning a small metal handle. The grill feels well made and sturdy. The user manual explains everything about the grills use, and cooking techniques, and recipes. I love this grill and would recommend it to anyone. It works great and I plan to grill alot this summer.A note about value. This is an entry level grill but the cooking surface is identical to grills costing a great deal more. In my opinion the cooking surface is the most important feature in a kettle grill. That makes the silver one touch a great bargain.

Perfect!
Perfect. Used for 2 summers and have loved it. Makes people think I’m better at grilling than I actually am. Does 95% of the work. If it could flip things on its own it wouldn’t need me at all.

Amazing grill!
The grill is big, easy to set up, and very sturdy. It cooks food quickly with great flavor, whether for a small group or a big party. Cleaning is simple thanks to the ash system. Even though it's an entry-level model, the cooking surface is just like more expensive grills, making it a great value.

Great grill, lousy assembly instructions.
The name Weber speaks for itself. I owned one back in the day but left it behind during a move. I’ve had cheaper grills that rusted through in a few seasons. You don’t get any better than Weber, and I prefer charcoal grills too — you just can’t get that flavor with gas. This 22-inch grill is HUGE! I had the 18-inch one previously, and boy do those 4-inches make a big difference. I barbecued 10lbs of chicken quarters (8 quarters in all) with room to spare! HUGE!Now, about assembly, sheesh! The wordless instructions were deceiving at best, and incorrect at worst. The instructions tell you to install the main leg first — no problem — and then the right leg (with the kettle upside down and handle facing you - although deducing this wasn’t easy as the drawings inexplicably change the orientation of the kettle from the initial drawing); they indicate that after you install the right leg that you can easily attach the triangular shaped tray that sits at the bottom of the grill assembly. The problem is, once the leg is in place it is impossible to thread the end of the triangle tray through the hole of the leg once it is “pinned” to the main leg first by way of a hook. After several attempts to do it the way they instructed (slightly damaging the primary leg as I tried to position the tray to fit - the hook that you feed into that hole barely fits, and turning it extends and bends the metal around that hole), I finally decided to take the right leg off, thread the end of the tray through the hole on the leg, and then install the leg, sort of like how they instruct you to do for the third leg.The third leg was difficult to install because of an incorrect instruction as to which hole to use for the clip; you have to use the opposite one they indicate to accommodate the third end of the tray.Even the instructions for the installation of the handle wasn’t as straightforward as they should have been.Weber needs to grab ten people and watch them individually try to assemble this grill using these instructions so they can modify the drawings to make more sense. But, once it is assembled, what a grill! One issue I have is with the metal tray/cup that is suspended below the bottom of the kettle to catch the ashes when they fall during cooking and cleaning; those clips just do not keep the tray attached securely. It keeps falling off.The other issue is with the metal fan-like device that is supposed to help scrape the ashes out of the kettle and send them through the gaps into the unsteady tray/cup below; because it only moves a few inches back and forth instead of all the way around the bottom of the kettle, you can’t adequately clean the ashes from the kettle they way the design intended.I’m super pleased that I finally have a Weber grill again, the Cadillac of barbecue grills!

Great classic kettle grill
easy to assemble and holds temperature well for both direct and indirect grilling. The 22-inch size is perfect for family cookouts. Build quality is solid as expected from Weber. Only minor issue is that the lid hook can be a bit tricky to use, but overall a fantastic charcoal grill for the price."

My favorite grill
Weber OG is a tried and true legend, and I keep coming back to this grill. My grandpa used this grill, my dad used this grill, and now it's my turn. It's great quality, cooks my food evenly, and the vents help heat my charcoals easily and evenly. I've tried other grills and this one is just the indisputable champ.

This basic Weber Kettle with a few tweaks is all that's needed for great BBQ.
Almost bought the $199 model because I wanted the grate with hinged openings, then I saw that I could have it as an accessory for $25. I already had a $12 Doyzant Temp Gauge installed on my old Aussie Meat Burner so I transferred it to the Weber. The fancy ash catcher seemed to me like windshield wipers on headlights, nice to have but unnecessary. It took a little fiddling to get the legs oriented to the bottom shelf but with the unit upside down on the patio table assembly was quick and straightforward. Oh, and do have the axle up against something solid to tap on the wheels. It's now been 2 months and much delicious smoked meat later. I've learned that, despite many You Tube Rangers advice, the bottom vent is best kept fully open and the top vent used to regulate the heat, just as Weber instructs. Also that the amount of briquets is as important as the vents in heat regulation. Fuel + Oxygen = Heat.Approximately 70 Kingsford Briquets arranged around about 40% of the circumference will burn at a steady 250 to 275 degrees for up to 6 hours. Even though I love to see Snakes here in Pisgah Forest, how they're arranged or where lit is inconsequential; I just push them up against the sides and light off one end. It takes awhile, about the right amount of time to season the meat for the temp to get right with the top vent fully open, then after about an hours cooking the vent needs closed a bit as the heat will rise to 300 degrees or more. The temp is more sensitive to small increments of ventage than one might first imagine and the temperature change takes awhile which can result in a whipsaw that will have you, as it did me at first, jumping up and down, fussing with the vent. You will notice that I have 3 of those 99 cent hand clamps on the lid as there was leakage of smoke and therefore heat from around the lid. Also, I fashioned a better vent handle from a 2"x 2" piece of hardwood. The stock flange gets hot and after a few cooks doesn't offer enough leverage to move the vent easily against grease build-up. You Tube would have you spend $25 for a big red handle but a table saw blade kerf is the exact right size to fit a piece of wood over the flange and a 10 cent bolt and nut secures it.Sometimes it's necessary to regulate the bottom vent so with a Sharpie I marked an index on the ash catcher to line up with a leg, then 1/4, 1/2, and fully open marks. It's a breeze to brush the ash onto the catcher disc and carefully remove it to empty turning one clamp. An unused briquet rubbed against the kettle edges easily cleans off grease build up without harming the enamel.Less than $150 buys a Grill/Smoker that produces meat friends with 5 figure set-ups are impressed with and here in North Carolina, that's saying something.

The standard.
This grill is the standard that all other grills should measure up to or attempt to exceed. Bang-for-Buck, you can do absolutely everything every intermediate or experienced griller would want to achieve. It grills, it smokes, and it has a ridiculously amount of accessories to play and experiment with. With 22 inches of real-estate, you should be able to do anything a small family or gathering would need to be cooked.Other reasons why this Weber kicks ass?- Lightweight and easy to move.- Easy to clean.- Simplicity is often a virtue in itself. All you need is a chimney starter and charcoal. No lugging around a propane tank.- It. Wont. Break. There's literally nothing that can break other than screws/fasteners coming loose.Don't hesitate if you're thinking about getting one. Weber is simply the classic go-to option.

So happy I went back to a charcoal grill!
This thing has made for a great summer. I watched a few YouTube videos and have been making the best BBQ of my life. If you set this grill up properly, it's capable of burning for 12 or more hours without taking the lid off. I have been smoking pulled pork, brisket and ribs all summer. The ribs especially are coming out at restaurant quality.I especially like that this grill will last the rest of my life if I want it to. A nice change from buying a new gas grill every 2-3 years. Also, there is a whole world of accessories for 22" Weber grills. I have already spent more money on accessories than I spent on the grill itself but I have it setup exactly how I want it.Some recommended accessories:A charcoal starterA good electronic thermometer with at least 2 probes.A grill with hinged sides to make adding charcoal easierA cover. The Weber one is decent quality and fits great.

Cumple y aguanta
