Amazing Tile Tape 2" x 108' Strong Adhesive Waterproof Tape

You're welcome for this! I only write reviews when I find a game-changer product. It has to be next level. I use this tape for everything I can. I mainly use this for outdoor drainage connections. This is a very close second to French drain man's 200-year tape (best of the best for drainage). It performs very similarly. It's thinner than pipe wrap or gaffers tape. Yet, its still very strong. I can pull it apart if it sticks to itself and still keeps the stickiness. Uses: I wrap connections between two corrugated pipes, as well as between corrugated and PVC pipes (of any kind). Plastic or rubber tubes/pipes. Notes after many uses: This works great for things like corrugated pipes because it is stretchy. When I wrap the pipes I can pull the tape to where it nearly fills in the grooves. It can stretch around uneven surfaces. It is sturdy enough to withstand pulling hard. This makes me believe it is waterproof and this will keep roots out of pipe connections where water travels. This will also make the connections very stiff when I wrap it multiple times. Let me tell you, this stuff is not going anywhere once installed. Summary: 5 star tape and the best ive found for my situation. The tape is thick enough to pull hard, sticky enough to stick to anything plastic, and attaches well enough to stop water. This combination makes me confident to use it as a secondary seal for my poly septic riser I am installing as well because it is HDPE (HDPE is the best).

I used this tile tape to provide an extra layer of protection at the joints of my landscaping piping to help prevent roots from intruding into the pipe if the joint were ever to be compromised. It very sticky, sturdy and looks like it will provide years of protection. Much better than plain old duct tape which would deteriorate much quicker and come loose. Good product. I recommend it.

I recently installed some corrugated drain pipe around the side of the house to get water away from the foundation, but several joints on the pipe length were leaking like crazy. Of course I didn't expect corrugated drain pipe (non-perforated) to be watertight at the connections, but at least enough to get the job done. After doing some research on what people were using I kept seeing this PVC tape coming up as a recommendation from companies that install drainage lines. This stuff is amazing - plain and simple. It wraps on the pipe perfectly, the tightness of the tape on the roll allows for it to conform to the pipe and corrugated ridges without any effort, and most of all its watertight. I even installed this in rainy/muddy conditions and in the 35F range and it stuck no problem and sealed the joints perfectly. A heavy rain came through last night and I checked the joints and found that they were totally dry. This is a wonderful product for these drain tiles, and will serve to also keep roots out of the drain pipe.

This worked really good for in ground drainage.
