Great design, less than great support.
My wife and I are avid SCUBA Divers and have been diving for over twenty five years. Of course, we enjoy snorkelling also. That is why we were excited about the ninja full face mask. We are on our way to the southern caribbean next month, and were planning on using these masks. We purchased a black one and a blue one. They were promptly delivered in early October. Here are the things I noticed:First, the faceplate seems to be made os plastic or acryllic, not the glass as advertised. This raises concerns about scratching. The design is spectacular with the go pro mount well placed. The advertisement states that one size fits all, from adult to 13 year olds. My wife is petite, but her face is certainly larger than the average 12 year old. We cannot get a good seal on her with the mask (we have tried only the black mask)It seems that the fully adjustable head straps can only be adjusted with the lower straps. The upper head straps do not seem to be adjustable. For smaller heads, this is where the adjustment is needed. I tried to contact the company to ask if I was missing something, but for three weeks, no reply. That is sad.I can state that the air-filled seal around the mask is more firm on the blue mask...the seal on the black mask is almost flaccid. Perhaps this is the problem?I will not slam a company because I had one bad experience, but I simply cannot give a five star rating. One thing that I am truly disappointed in is their customer service. I cannot find a way to contact them, other than to call Australia, and our day-night hours do not support that. How do I change the default five stars to two?I tried e mail to get help, and, as i said, have not received a single response.I love the design of the mask; however, I am probably going to have to return both unless I can get the issues resolved within the next week. Jeff see s to care, but Jeff is nearly impossible to contact.

Our faces are all different, so too should be our masks.
I tried really hard to like this; it seemed to have everything I wanted in a mask like this. Unfortunately, the one-size-fits-all description should probably read “one-size-probably-fits-a-lot-of-people-but-you-might-not-be-one-of-them.” At 6’3” and 200 lbs I wouldn’t say I’m wildly outside a standard deviation from the human population, but this mask was simply too small for my face - it being uncomfortable to wear in any position for more than a few minutes and its narrow frame squishing in my eyes. A major contributor to the issue is the immobile chin support/strap which forces the mask to sit at one position on your face, even if that position isn’t quite where it should be.It’s just too bad. I love the look and the equalizer design. It’s a return for me, reluctantly. As an aside, FWIW I had my 5’7” 120 lb wife try it on before I returned it. She had the opposite issue - too large for her face. It wouldn’t seal near her eyes without compressing the mask so tightly against her head that I thought I caught a glimpse of gray matter.3 stars for it looking and feeling well made, but they lose points for not coming to my house and personally measuring my face for the model before they sent it off for production.

Exactly the same as the Deep Sea O2.
Been using full face masks since they came out. The older ones build up CO2 so I wanted to see which mask I liked better between the ninja and the deep sea. To my surprise they are exactly the same with a different label printed on them but at a 30 dollar difference. So I will be returning the ninja due to inflated price and will be purchasing another Deep Sea O2.Updated: So breathing in the mask is great until you get in the water. Ive been using full face masks since they came out and this mask is definitely different. The twin compartment design is interesting but the seal in the little area between your chin and cheek is lacking water constantly leaks in. This is multiplied if you dive down due to pressure. Then you panic due to the small breathing chamber which surrounds your mouth and nose is full of water and no where for it to go. I have never had this happen with the several masks I have used over the years. Ocean reef is my original mask and I will be going back to them.

overall nice full faced setup
Wife and I bought these for our trip to the Bahamas. Overall I really liked them.Pros: For me the mask fit really well, I have a large face and it covered my face well. I had to be sure to shave as I noticed the hair on my face would prevent the mask from sealing properly(as expected). It didnt take long to get used to the breathing for me. It didnt fog at all while using. Once I got used to it, I didnt have a problem going under for a few minutes at a time.Plastic was heavy duty, and felt very durable. The snorkel tube ball worked well, and they give you a extra o-ring in case you mess it up taking the tube out. setup came with cell phone water proof case, it was a little cheap but did the trick, it kept sand out of phones, never tried the water seal. They also give you a bag to put everything in, that was useful, after we used I put in bag and hung up under our palapa.Cons: My wife struggled with it more than i did. It didnt fit her face as well as mine. She had a hard time adjusting to it, and said it made her feel claustrophobic. The only thing I can say is that it takes some getting used to. When you go under, you can blow out, which was normal for me as Ive scuba dived, but if you try to breath in while under water, your taking in CO2. you have to kinda be aware of this. I just held my breath until I came back up, which is what your supposed to do. Its a little unnatural with a full faced mask.As others have said its a little hard to dive face first, I found myself having to struggle to sink. it might be easier with some fins and weights to get buoyancy right.Company was helpful and made sure we knew how to tighten straps.
