where is this located in a1998 rheem classic 90?

Turn power off. Remove upper front cover. Look in on the upper right just below the gas burner tubes. You will see the ignitor attached to the back wall with 2 sheet metal screws. Use a screwdriver or nutdriver to remove screws, disconnect the electrical connector to the ignitor and then remove the ignitor. Install new ignitor with the screws that were removed,connect electrical connector,reinstall cover,turn power back on. Will this ignitor replace a coorstek 271n model?

I can’t find a match for Coorstek 721n, but if this is a re-brand for Norton 721n then yes, the Duraflame will work.

My rheem horisontal attic furnace (rguj-10na-jr) asked for flame sensor/igniter built in, will this work?

That is a very old furnace, they were different ignition systems used throughout the years. If your furnace has a hot surface ignitor that looks like this, then this should work. If your current ignitor glows but the flame does not stay lit, then the problem could also be with the control unit, which is no longer available. Thanks for your inquiry.
