In recent comparison testing, winner winner here
Hi I do woodworking, a lot of very fine dust, dirt, and all else blowing around, and trying to get into my already compromised lungs. I also need help when we mow our 3 1/2 acre lot, between grass allergies, and dust and dirt flying around I sneeze, choke, and suffer for several days after mowing, and it doesn't seem to matter of it's wet, dry, or other.I have a full face respirator that I often use in the shop, it looks really silly mowing with that though, but if I do, I'm good after mowing. So I recently bought at my expense several different offerings here of N95, and N99 stated dust masks, and this "NIOSH certified" N95 mask turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. 15 pack for fairly low money, and unlike their all paper cousins it doesn't become like wet paper mache after wearing it for 30 minutes. I can wear one all day, even putting it back on after a lunch break when I'm in the shop. Usually I pitch them at the end of the day, because they are so coated on the outside in dust, and junk it becomes more difficult to pull air in. That is the stated time to replace, so I do.Beside the great material used you really need to look for those words NIOSH (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) so NIOSH "certified" N95 mask. A whole lot of masks on here calling themselves N95, and I bought a few, and I don't believe they are certified by anyone, they just "kinda" look like an N95 mask. HUGE difference there folks, unless you really are wearing one of these to look like a dork, the reason is to protect your lungs, and these do pass the Raccoon test every time, and are also inexpensive to use.Ok Raccoon test, what is that??????? You wear the mask for a while in a really dusty, dirty place. Take off the mask, and look in a mirror. You should look like a Raccoon, and have a clean place where the mask was, and no dirt in your nostrils if you blow, and certainly no weird tastes in your mouth. That means the mask protected your airway as it was designed to.I have a huge head, think "the great pumpkin" LOML has a small tiny head, think cutie pie, and both of us can wear these due to their great adjustability. We are comfy, clean, and our airways are protected from the dangers we face, be it shop dust, sawdust, or grass pollen and allergens, mold, whatever that junk is that lives in our grass. If you look at my reviews, you will see my N95 reviews, and can tell the pretend N95's from the winners. .I did give another product a 5, but it is really at a higher price point. The outer is washable, but it works with replaceable filters, and between the costs these will be lower in cost through the years. Are there others here much like this mask? I imagine so, but I did not test them. I think these were the lowest price point for this type, so I started there. So I guess that means you don't need to spend lot to get a good mask. You only get the one pair of lungs, treat them well.

The most comfortable mask my teams have found. They love it.
We use N95 masks in our Community Emergency Response Training (CERT). We have tried so many N95 masks, that don’t fit well, are very hot, hurt our faces, and make it difficult to communicate. These masks solve those problems. The design pulls the mask away from the nose area and does not irritate the skin. The valve is on the side, so it doesn’t catch on anything. The mask does not collapse when I take a deep breath, and is cooler than anything else we have tried. It folds flat for easy storage in our CERT bags, and is wrapped individually to keep it clean. We have tested it in Training using dry-chemical fire extinguishers and with bleeding wounds. It stands up beautifully to the challenge. We will buy more of these.

Asthma and COPD sufferers who work on a farm in dust need this mask.
Ordered these masks for my husband. He has moderate COPD and allergy related asthma. He drives a semi- truck to and from farm crop fields and to mills. He developed a severe sensitivity to the dust in these areas. He could not wear a regular respirator due to his trouble breathing. We had to go with a disposable mask. He tried this mask out for the first time yesterday. He was very pleased! Great fit around his face, very comfortable and really did the job blocking all that dust! The greatest thing was that he could breathe well with them on! If you suffer from breathing issues you know how very important that is. Very pleased with this product and the company took the time to send a personal e- mail to make sure we were satisfied. How many companies do that now. Outstanding!

Exactly what I needed, performed to my expectations
I ordered these for gardening I get a lot of dirt in my nose and can give me headaches so needed something to filter out the dust/dirt. The cheap masks are very uncomfortable and wearing a respirator is really overkill so I needed something inbetween. I wasn't sure what size to order so I got small and it was a good choice, I am female 5'4". The mask fits my nose/mouth comfortably. The elastic that you hook in the back was just a "tad" too snug so I extended it a bit and it is now perfectly comfortable. I saw on the photos some people loop the elastic bands behind their ears (too loose for me this way) but there is another way which is to use the provided plastic "hook" and hook it in the back of your head and this was how I used them. I am happy to report the following: 1. comfortable 2. not too hot/sweaty 3. snug fit around mouth/nose 4. hardly noticed I was wearing it after a while which is good and 5. best of all, no dirt/dust inside my nose after gardening for the day. I was doing very physical work and I didn't have a problem breathing with this mask. I would like to also add that I like to put a drop of essential oil on the inside of the mask which makes breathing in even more pleasant. I used the mask for about 5 hours today of dirty weeding, pulling up landscape fabric and the like and it performed to my expectations. I am glad I bought them and would recommend for this type of use. After using them all day I am sure I can keep using the one mask until I feel it's ready to go, I am sure if I would handle it with my dirty hands it would need to be replaced sooner so I am trying to be careful to remove it with clean hands. I would buy these again.

Comfortable and well made
These masks were just what I was looking for. They're adjustable, have real elastic straps that last and don't break the first or second time you put your mask on, they fit securely, are comfortable, well made and reasonably priced. They're made by a family owned and operated company that values customer satisfaction and quality. If you're unhappy w/ your purchase, they want to know.I don't know how these masks fit on a man (someone w/ a larger head and features), but they're very comfortable on me and definitely worth a try.
