I've been a full-time bass player since the early 1980's and I've been a D'Addario string user for as long as I can remember. They last well, they stay in tune (a BIG plus), the Black Beauties and the tape-wound strings look great on 3 of my basses. I have D'Addario strings on all of my basses, all of my guitars and even on my mandolin.
