Amazing Cage and Rig, the quality is very high, wish the manual and accessories are defined and sold in a clearer fashion, you will be surprised other than reviews on Youtube and other camera websites, there is no website I can find for JTZ DP30 which is weird but I hope they will provide their customers with more great products and accessories and website were we can view their latest products and accessories.

I really wanted to like this cage system more but the top handle really let me down. Let's get into the positives first which is the cage itself. Included in the box was bottom plates for a GH4 and GH5. That plate fit on my GH5S just fine. Again I really liked the cage system itself. Everything had a nice finished feel and aluminum build. Wasn't very heavy. The routing of the control cables could be a little better. In the pictures you can see the basic cable setup you need to get the record button on the top handle to work. Not a very clean look but it works. The camera is on a quick release plate so you can easily remove it from the cage. There is another quick release system to remove the cage from the rail setup. Then there is a third release for the bottom plate itself. Every fit and slid together well and felt super secure. Then there is the top handle. This is where I was really disappointed. It's plastic. The bottom area where you connect to the nato rail on the top of the cage is metal but most everything else is plastic including the actual handle itself. This was a huge disappointment. Everything else in the kit was metal and felt very high quality. I don't know why they didn't continue that superior build quality to the top handle. There is no way I would trust holding up my expensive camera rig from a plastic handle. Of course you could just not use the handle but then why pay more for a camera cage setup like this if you don't get the advantage of those top controls on the handle?

The GH5 fits perfectly in this cage despite what the other review says. The system is well-made and its modular design is spot on. To make all the features in the handles work, you need to properly understand the LANC system and certain cameras/lenses and power set-ups that will enable more features. I've had one issue with a connector part not being included in the hand-grip packaging but customer service on this issue has been excellent.

Ich dachte, als ich die JZT Produkt-Rezessionen auf YT und hier gesehen hatte, ich würde ein optimal abgestimmtes Gadget für das GH5 kaufen. - tja, Trugschluss und Augenwischerei: Fangen wir mit der Fernbedienung an: außer Aufnahme starten/stoppen und Fotos schießen, geht in kurzer Zeit die ganze aufgedruckten Funktionen ab. Sollte ich es also verkaufen wollen, gibt es keine Chance es ausführlich zu erklären. Eventuell gibt es ein Handbuch dafür. Dann das Cage: - Akku ist nicht auszutauschen wenn die Kamera im Cage steckt. Das Schraubgewinde, worauf der Griff angebracht wird, ist im Weg. Entweder man bringt ein Akku mit Kabel an, oder man rechnet mit einer mindestens 5 Minuten Aktion um das Akku zu wechseln. Auch empfinde ich den ganzen Rig als zu massiv und zu schwer. Wenn ich Aufnahmen mit dem Schulterrig mache, dann wiegt die GH5 nach 10 Minuten gefühlte 20 Kilo. Die Lang-Objektiv Stütze: kann nicht abgeschraubt werden. Und falls nötig, ist die Schraube im Weg um das Cage vom Rig abzuziehen. Das Heißt: Sollte man mal -während eines Auftrages- vom Rig auf Cage wechseln wollen, und ein Langes Objektiv wird gestützt, muss erst das Objektiv ab, dann die Vorrichtung abgebaut werden, cage abziehen, dann wieder Vorrichtung ranbauen (falls notwendig) dann Objektiv wieder drauf. Kurzum, ein Rig das laut JZT perfekt und professionell sein soll, ist eher unpraktisch und verbraucht die wertvolle Zeit mit unnützen umbauten! Fazit: sucht Euch etwas sinnvolleres für das teure Geld. Profi sein bedeutet nicht lediglich teures Material zu kaufen sondern teuer weil zuverlässig und langlebig. Ich wundere mich wirklich das solche ähnliche Erfahrungen von Kollegen nicht geäußert werden!

Ich hatte ein kleines Rig für die Arbeit mit meiner GH5 gesucht. Die angebotenen Features beim DP30 erschienen für mich sinnvoll in Verbindung mit einem vernünftigen Preis. Das Rig ist stabil, sehr exakt gearbeitet und hat meine Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Bei der von mir gewählten Kamera-Rig-Kombination war es wichtig, möglichst auf zusätzliche Hilfe bei meinen Dreharbeiten verzichten zu können. Stativ- und Schultereinsatz sind bei diesem Rig bequem und sehr gut zu händeln. Außerdem ist erwähnenswert, da ich teilweise (z.B. beim Ton) für das Rig Lösungen brauchte, war der DP30 Hersteller FOTGA immer eine große Hilfe und hat immer sehr schnell und kompetent reagiert. Ich kann das DP30-Rig mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.
