These chews are not for the faint-hearted. Once your dog gets a taste of these, regular chews will be kicked to the curb. Be prepared for a pooch with refined tastes and Himalayan cheese standards. We order these religiously now for our dogs. They chew on them pretty much everyday. They have a toy bucket and fetch toys to play with everyday and always go for these chews. They last a very long time. When it gets down to the last nub a fun trick we found was to soak in water for awhile and throw into air fryer. They puff up like a crunchy chewy cheese puff for the pets.

I first ordered these 2 years ago and they were a very good value for how long they use to last! Sometimes they use to last nearly a month of free chewing by a pit bull mix who chewed on it a few times a day. There must be supply problems because they have fluctuated in price so much over the past year. The last box had a noticeable decline in quality, I’m hoping to find a few higher quality chews mixed in, but the first 3 have lasted a disappointing amount of time. Between 1- 3 days. I will definitely give this brand another chance because they were a 5 star product, but now they are slipping to a low 4 stars. 2023 update: had a good box of 4&5 star chews. Gotta keep an eye on that price and snag them when they’re cheap.

I had never tried these before but my dogs love them. They are a great value for their money and are super hard I can’t imagine many dogs could bite through them very quickly! They are a ver brittle and not chewy but my dogs do not make a mess and I think they actually might help with their gut health and do not get diarrhea or anything. Something to note is that they could be a bit dangerous depending on your dogs habits. One might want to monitor their dog/dogs that want to swallow and not chew so much, might have some safety issues with choking. If you are afraid for the safety of your pup might try to eat it whole. Sometime I will bag one in a couple grocery bags and break it up with a hammer to then soak in water and microwave, also great to do when pieces get eaten down to a small nub

My dog loves these. He's a chewer so he gets thru them in a day or so, but he does enjoy it.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! There is a reason why these treats are offered at a low price. ***UPDATED REVIEW*** As you can see in my initial review below, I really enjoyed the first package and decided to give the company a second try. Today, when I opened the container, I was OVERWHELMED with the terrible smell of mildew and the sticks felt moist - even though there's a plastic seal. Something isn't right with these guys. It was absolutely disgusting. Please see my pictures. I would really recommend going to one of the other companies. I have never had this issue with any of my purchases from other companies and I get these ALL THE TIME. This isn't the first review about this and I would not trust this product for my fur babies EVER AGAIN. The package is convenient for storage but the chews were not in a bag and the container was not airtight. My dogs LOVED them. I was incredibly pleased with the size and quantity. The cost of this product is a great deal for what you get. These chews were much bigger and better in my opinion than most of the other products that I have tried. The entire 3 lb tub contained the same size chews that you would find in a pet store containing ONE XL chew for more than half the cost. Depending on the chewing power of your dog, the longevity will obviously differ but for my 98 lb pitties, they chewed on them for half the day and they usually destroy everything in 5 minutes. This is generally a great product! My dog usually loves these Yak Cheese chews, but not so much this time. When the box arrived, I noticed it was missing the plastic lid, but the seal was still intact and not broken (a good thing). However, some of the chews appeared to have a whitish discoloration, not a big I felt I've seen this before on the outside of aged cheese that hasn't been cut. About 2 weeks go by and my dog is ready for me to open the new box of cheese chews.... YIKES... these is a horrible odor and what appears to be mold!!! It is mold, just like on real cheese, on almost all of the chew bars inside the box. I was not happy... These things are not cheap and my dog would not take nor would I give it to her. The smell alone was pretty bad... Anyway... I actually dumped these in a sink of warm water and let them soak for about 20 min before scrubbing with a brush and peeling with a potato peeler to remove several layers before I baked them in my oven for 12 min at 400 degrees to make sure I killed everything. Now my dog will chew on them again, but it's crazy that you are sending these out before they are completely dry. If I hadn't caught it and it was someone else in my house giving out these treats, my dog could have become very sick. I will continue to buy but I will use a lot of caution with this product from now on.

My dog loves yak chews. Bought this for the first time and must have came fractured. Gave it to my pup to then find it in about 6 different pieces. Sharp edges and an absolute choking hazard. Disgusting tbh. Could have easily killed her if I wasn’t supervising. Definitely would not recommend. Would give it 0 stars if I could.

Shattered within minutes of my 25 kg pup chewing on it. Exploded into chunks and sharp shards (turns out it was hollow on the inside). Am terrified that one will puncture my pup’s stomach or intestines. Never again.

Great chew overall and Theo loves them! Although item came broken. Theo loves these chews, I decided to keep the chew as we needed something for Theo to chew on. Great chew but choking hazard when it arrived broken. We order yak chews often online and never have received a broken one via Amazon before.

My Golden Doodle loves to gnaw on a bone and he’s previously enjoyed hard cheese chews. But after less than a minute I had to take this one away from him, as it easily broke into sharp little shards, which I thought could have seriously hurt or choked him. Definitely would not recommend.

Turned up brittle and in 4 pieces. Super sharp, immediately went in the bin
