Kestrel 2014 Legend SL SRAM Matte Carbon 99% Assembled

Just as I've read in a few other reviews, the Kestrel Legend SL does look even better in person than the great photos you see online. The seams and finish of the carbon fiber look perfect. Of course appearance is a highly personal thing, but it's hard to not to be impressed by how great this bike looks. With the carbon fiber as a backdrop, the outline lettered KESTREL branding and Formula 1 inspired SRAM Red groupo look very sharp. The bike just looks right! Packaging was first rate, with loose items carefully tied down and each tube on the frame was wrapped in both foam and cardboard. The Legend arrived without a scratch. There will be a follow-up update once I get a chance to set the bike up and actually ride it! Having never ridden on SRAM components or even a carbon bike for that matter, this will truly be a first impressions review!UPDATE 1 - Be sure to check everything on the bike THOROUGHLY. Just because everything but the handle bars and seat look to be assembled, do not assume. So far I've found the crankset loose and the front derailleur cable not properly seated in the upper lug. I will be going over every last fastener before I take it out on the road.
