My previous Kent comb lasted 4 years in my back pocket almost all the time! This is why I ordered the three pack with each comb having its own leather case. The leather case not only protects the comb but it also saves wear on your back pocket and trousers. I would highly recommend this comb with case!

These pocket combs are by far the best on the market. My only quibble is that they do tend to snap in my back pocket if I sit in the comb wrong but the quality, smoothness, and convenience of a case to protect them are excellent. I think they tried to get a variation with a nail file in the case and that helped with the snapping.

The comb while small, glides effortlessly though my hair which is thinning. It does not catch or pull matted hair. For me, it is perfect. Now I did have to add a small amount of glue on the tab attached to the comb as the tab had detached. But it has given me nothing but good service since. I am going to hate the day when I loose this comb. The leather case is nice as comb and case fits neatly in small pockets. I was surprised at the comb's smaller size and was initially disappointed but when I started using it I was reminded that good things come in small sizes sometimes

I dinged a star off (would rather have only taken off half if I could) because the leather tab attached to the comb that you use to pull it out of the sheath was mis-glued and basically falling off when I got it. Even if it were properly glued, glue is not the solution for that sort of thing, not if, like me, you wanted this thing to last for life. I simply got a needle and thread and sewed the tab securely on, which takes away from the look, but adds to the durability. That aside, the comb is fantastic. Compared to the cheap plastic combs we are all used to, it is night and day. The first time you have to go back to a cheap comb and feel the tines digging into your scalp, you'll realize that a Kent is worth the moderate investment. I actually carry this with me in my pocket every day, the first time I have carried a comb with me since I was in 7th grade and it was a big plastic one sticking out of the back pocket of my jeans, for feathering back my doo.

After reading some concerning reviews about broken or sharp tines, scratches, etc, I was apprehensive about getting this comb. What I got appears nicely finished with no missing tines or other parts. The tines are not really sharp, and if there are scratches, I cannot see them easily. I was worried this comb might be on the small side. Instead, it is the perfect size. Any larger and it would not fit nicely in the pocket. Only time will tell how it holds up.

I like it, comb fits in my pocket and It is big enough to comb my beard with it. I wish it was a little bit taller but it is the best I have found so far. Tips of teeth are not rounded but sometimes you need a tool to give a good scratch under the old whiskers. Prefect pocket comb.

Wanted a comb to put in my pocket when I am traveling. Didn't want it to scratch other stuff in my pocket like my phone. This has a cover, so the scratch problem is solved. Other travel combs have larger tines on the ends which makes it harder to get a good part. These times are the same size as the ones in the middle... prefect. Also it's small and light so it does not take up to much room in my pocket.

This is a perfect comb for my thick hair. It has a good heft and fits my hand nicely. The teeth are smooth and glide through your hair. It's not the black plastic combs you get at the drugstore. But the quality shows and it's nice to know you can invest in a com that really performs and which will truly last.
