I'm using these in a 50k BTU circular fire table. So far, there has been no melting and no popping. The packaging was a plain heat sealed plastic bag; not pretty, but functional. The calculator was fairly accurate, but estimated a little on the high side.The first use I started up the fire pit on low, then gradually increased the flame every 5 minutes to allow everything to heat up gradually. Now I just start it up at whatever flame level I want. Some of the beads have developed some soot, but it wipes/ washes off easily. I have the light blue/ dark blue/ amber blend, and the amber is dark like a beer bottle, but pretty in the fire light. I was afraid it would be too dark to see.

Bought these 2 10 pound containers to put in the bottom of bird bath. Looks amazing, placed next to the garden for the bees they love it. Birds drink too

These rocks in the gas fireplace are the perfect decoration to enhance the appearance of your gas fireplace. I got the black, very shiny and the white very shiny. They actually sparkle like mirrors. I am very happy with this product. I may even get more.

We use these in a portable propane fire pit. They make it look good despite old age and decrepitude. You will have some breakage due to uneven heating of the glass. This is only an issue if you regularly scoop the glass out for travel.

I recently purchased a propane fire pit that came with boring red lava rocks. I wanted shiny black rocks to match the rest of my decor. These were perfect and look really nice. I bought the 10lb bag and could have used one or two pounds more to fill it up, but these will work as is.

Not only is it great for the fire pit, It looks amazing in the fish tanks.
