This is a great smoker! From bacon to brisket to ham steaks to chops. I put my own meat into our freezer and doing up 60 lbs of bacon and running it slow for a 36 hr smoke. Flavor is fantastic and this is easy to use and clean.

Love our new Traeger. This was our first pellet smoker and we could not be happier. Have smoked ribs, chicken thighs, meatloaf, Pork loin, Chuck roast and am still using the same 20lb bag of pellets. There are lots of YouTube channels with recipes you can try.

Wow do we love this smoker! This was a gift for my husband who is new to smoking meat. The smoker is easy to use with digital temperature reader and thermometer to monitor the meat (fool proof). It took about 30 minutes to put together and my husband was able to do it himself. We use it about once a week because it is easy to use, meat gets a great smokey flavor, and tastes delicious. It is extremely functional and great for serving large groups. We think it was worth every penny! My husband says it is the best gift I ever gave him!!!

Easy to assemble, follow directions One person can set it up, even though it says 2, Grill is heavy so be careful Grill is sturdy and well made Operation of grill is simple and straightforward, allow grill to heat up and cool down as in the instructions Cleanup is simple,, small shop vac is suggested as well as a good grill cleaner ( I use a wooden one to protect finish on grate) Lastly after market shelves are sold, that fit the smoker, I suggest getting one. It’s like an extra set of hands, especially when dealing with larger cuts of meat or platters of meat, if you like to wrap ur meats after initial smoke. I wasted years and a lot of my time by not using something so easy to use that offer great results

I'll start by saying I'm a fan of Traeger and their products, my first Traeger is still in great condition after 7 years, and will be going to a friend so they can enjoy the awesomeness that is Traegering. I was happy to come across the Pro 22 for a good price and made the decision to upgrade. Assembly - easy, two people almost necessary, but if you've got decent upper-body strength you can flip the grill upside down to install the legs and the leg braces. The packing material provided braces the round grill while it is flipped over, which is a wonderful design. Use - if you've never experienced a grilling/smoking with a Traeger, I highly recommend it...there are many like it, but they simply do not compare. Shipping/Packing - as I mentioned, the packing material is useful for the install, but it does not serve to protect the grill during shipping. I received the grill and immediately unboxed to begin assembly. There was a large dent on the back of the grill which I can only assume came from shipping. The box did have a portion that was ripped but I didn't think it would have made such a major dent. This dent is about 7" long and is quite unsightly. I won't be submitting a return for a new grill, but would definitely like to caution others that are more particular with how their grill will arrive. Thankfully the dent appears to be simply cosmetic. I'd like to know what the seller does in these situations, is there a replacement part that can be sent? I'm happy to install myself, but would certainly like to have a new grill that doesn't look like it was purchased from a scratch-and-dent warehouse.
