Very effective for DIY projects
I laid down vinyl wood planks (the kind with a sticky side) on my stairs about 18 months ago. Unfortunately I had a new puppy in the chew stage who literally ripped off/chewed half the vinyl planks. Cue round 2 and I bought this glue in the hopes I could have nice looking stairs once again. Glue was put down, waited 5-10 minutes and put down a vinyl plank. Did this in stages on several evenings after the dog’s bedtime so the glue could do its thing overnight. So far I’ve had one very small awkward piece come loose but the planks are holding steady! Glue is super easy to use, very effective and does not have a super overwhelming smell. I’m really happy with the product and would recommend for DIY projects.

Fantastic product
Absolutely amazing product; it is exactly what you need to reattach your vinyl flooring and works quickly. Several sections in the middle of my floor were no longer attached and some of the edges were curling. For the section in the middle of the floor, I made a .5in cut in the vinyl, used a screw driver to lift it up, inserted the tip of the glue and injected a copious amount, then placed duct tape over the cut, pressed the vinyl back down to the floor, smoothed it out, then placed a weight on it for 24 hours. The next day I removed the weight and the cut was unnoticeable and the vinyl was attached. I was a little hesitant to try based on some of the reviews but now that I have used it, I fully recommend it. To the negative reviews: 1. Flooring curled back up and did not attach - Of course it did. You must first flatten the vinyl before trying to reattach it. Simply use a blow dryer to warm up the vinyl until it is pliable then place a flat object on it to hold it down until it cools. Once cool and laying flat, use the glue. 2. It's too liquidly. - That is exactly how you want this product. You want to be able to precisely place the glue and then have it spread out to maximize coverage 3. The bottle leaks in a caulk gun - It is a squeeze bottle, not a caulk tube. Don't use it in a caulk gun...

Good repair adhesive
Just did a vinyl repair job over memorial weekend, its held up for the past few days. It really sticks. Did leave a film that washed off after an hour or two. Careful for the little red cap. It pops off and gets lost easily. I only had to replace 6 vinyl tiles (damn fridge tears them up like a dog going at rawhide)

Elmer's glue? Just use super glue. This is too messy and cheap.
Just the worst item to use. This is like Elmer's glue, so it doesn't dry. If you use it on vinyl tiles, stay away from this. It will mess up your floor, making it sticky and messy.

Worked great
I had a small tear in my kitchen vinyl floor. This worked beautifully to fix it. In fact it’s hard to even find the spot that was damaged anymore. Wearing gloves, I just lifted the flap and squeezed the adhesive in. I used a flat edge to press everything flat and wiped away excess adhesive. Initially it didn’t look very good with white adhesive showing along the seam, I wasn’t sure it was going to work. I put heavy books on it for a couple days to make sure it had plenty of time to set and left it alone. Pleasantly surprised that it turned out so good. Done.

Didn't work well to fix small cuts.
Didn't work that great for what I needed. Might work if your trying to glue down a sheet or something. I have a couple small cuts from chair legs and I tried using this to at least adhere that area to the floor better. Didn't really work for that.

Quick and easy
just put small dots of glue on the surface, wait until it becomes tacky, and then press the vinyl down. It holds securely once set and helps keep the flooring in place without shifting. Overall, it’s a simple and effective glue for vinyl flooring jobs.
