Can the lithium battery be swapped out for a spare, if so, where do I buy one? Live in a hurricane zone, can lose power for a week or so.

Not possible to swap out the battery. If you live in a hurricane zone then you should buy a generator that uses gasoline or natural gas. That is the only way. The battery in this fan will last for one overnight at best.

I bought this last year, and now it will only work when plugged in. What can I do to get it to work? I loved it so much for baseball games.

Only if you are hot, warm. Not recommended to use if air temps are below freezing. Will create a wind chill factor.
