Convenience.
I love this fryer, steamer pot. I tried it for the first time to fry some fish and it was perfect. Directions were easy to follow and the size is perfect for me. I can't wait to steam some vegetables in it. I know they will be good. Great buy and great price.

Worth a look
Bought this as a direct replacement to a 1960's Hy-Fry Cooker. It's smaller footprint is helpful when counter space is needed, but it can still deep fry the same amount of frozen fries. The only down side I've seen is the cord is really short. It say's not to use extension cord but I have no other option to plug it in. It's fairly easy to clean and store.

Waste of money
This is by far the WORST fryer I’ve ever bought! The lid doesn’t close properly with the basket in. It’s nowhere as big as I thought it would be. I absolutely HATE this fryer! Unfortunately it was a gift so I’m stuck with it for awhile. Absolute garbage!!! Do not buy!!!! ***UPDATE It started LEAKING!!! Thank God it wasn’t in use at the time! I had grease all over my counter top! It took quite awhile to clean up that mess! And about 1,000 paper towels! SERIOUS BURN HAZARD!!!

Not durable
It was working perfectly until it was not. I went to turn it on and i wouldn't and the power light wasn't lighting up. So with no abuse and only making fries sometimes (once every 2weeks) it lasted barely 4 months. The return and refund window was just expired. I am disappointed.
