Prescription inserts on EBAY
Was issued my first Uvex glasses by military, with prescription inserts. Nothing lasts forever. In time the nose pad breaks down and I have to replace frames. BUY PRESCRIPTION INSERTS ON EBAY, MILITARY SURPLUS 1/10th the Amazon price.

They reduce the glare of the sun but still keep the field of vision brighter than blue or grey sun glasses

Good sunglasses, poor packaging so many arrived smashed
We have used these sunglasses for years at my dental office, for patients to wear during dental treatment. The glasses typically are fantastic. They have a soft nosepiece and cushioned strip along the top that make them more comfortable to wear, and the arms are adjustable so they fits larger range of face/head sizes. However, I just ordered 10 of these and they mailed them in a padded envelope rather than a box. Each pair comes in its own box, and five out of the ten boxes were smashed when they arrived from the envelope getting smashed during shipping. Very poor packaging and I am disappointed that they weren’t packaged to be more well protected.

Avoid these inferior sunglasses.
Vision is distorted, mainly near the bottom of both lenses. It feels like you are wearing someone else's prescription lenses. I expected high quality from Uvex but these lousy. I have cheap Carhartt safety sunglasses that are not at all distorted. If I hadn't thrown away the box I'd send them back.

Favorite pair of safety sunglasses
My favorite pair of safety glasses! I have had different pairs over the years but these are the best. Adjustable temple length and angle in which they rest on your ears. Great visibility and tint. They do not fog up as often as others. They look quite nice! Quick note: do not let overspray from bug spray on the lenses as they do not come off rendering the safety glass spotty and unclear. Learnt a lesson there!
