Quality product. Sometimes you just need a little more magnification that your glasses. When that happens this works perfect!! Why do some companies have such small print on products. Very nice addition to my desk.

The first one’s thumb adjustment wheel for light on & brightness wouldn't stay on bright. The replacement is perfect. Ordering one more for me and one for gift

This is nice and works well. 1. Wish the stand was more weighted and balanced. 2. Weight of magnifier itself gets heavy after brief use.3. Make sure to slide off switch until it clicks, not just when lights go off. I am now trying to find a neck/lanyard style magnifier to give my arms and wrists a break. Actual vision assist of this one is good with and without reading glasses. Not optimal for me for prolonged use. Need to buy batteries extra.

For the most part, this is a great magnifier. I use it as a standing magnifier to read labels on food and medicine packaging. I find it a bit heavy for prolonged use, such as reading books. The viewing lens is clear and certainly 3X normal. I like the product's soft cleaning cloth. It would be nice if there were a spot in the stand for placing the cloth; I keep it in the stand's magnifier hole. The downside to my magnifier is the LED light, which does not work properly. I put new batteries in the magnifier and the first time I turned the light on, it increased smoothly from no light to very bright light. But since then, that feature has failed, giving me a steady but weak light.

I like how easy it is to find. I love the stand alone base. My husband is blind in his left eye. His vision is failing in his right eye. He is a motor mechanic and is all time having to look for a magnifying glass to look at a wire or a bolt. This frees his hands up so he can use both hands to work instead of the one not holding a magnifying glass or flash light. This really does make his life a little easier.

My grandmother is turning 82 this year and her eyesight is getting much worse. She can't read the prints on her books anymore which breaks her heart because she's such an avid reader. I got this for her hoping it'll help her even a little bit and it did! She can read all the words on the page clearly now and she's back to her old smiling self. The light feature is especially handy because she can even use this in the evenings.

Ther e may be something wrong with the light I received, but the light is not bright. I inserted 4 new energizer AAA batteries in the correct polarity and there was one bright flash of light, and after that the light was dim and not adjustable. I purchased this after reading all the positive reviews, but it is not working for me and I am very disappointed.

This is one of those products that I picked up on a whim. My eyesight is generally pretty good (I don’t wear glasses - 20/25 vision) but I swear retail packaging uses the smallest font known to man. Many occasion I can’t read instructions on a bottle so I have to take a picture on my phone to expand it. Not anymore, this thing is super handy to have hanging around in kitchen cabinet.
