ACE Thumb Stabilizer Adjustable, Black

I was very happy with this brace! The material that was up against my skin was very soft and did not chafe at all. While I needed it for my right hand, I did try it on the left just to see if it did actually function as advertised, and it does fit just as well on the left hand. I was able to move the rest of my finger very easily, and adjusting the tightness of the brace was very simple. Would absolutely recommend to my friends!

The ACE Thumb Stabilizer is a high quality produce and worked exactly as advertised. It helped ease the pain and was very comfortable to wear.

The product does stabilize my thumb, is comfortable to wear and easy to put on. I've worn the product for 6 days so can't give much info on it's overall benefit yet. I took one star off because the stitching between the thumb and index finger started to come loose on day 2 and worsened each day. It's a simple fix since I can sew but I'm a bit annoyed that I had to fix it.

What a relief. I was trying didn't thumb braces at my local Walgreen's and the main one was a joke, the thumb was way too long (1 size fits all) and there was no overall support. This product is excellent, great ability to size both the circumference of the thumb and tighten or loosen the support around the hand. It's worth way more than the $14 Ithat I paid.

Works as well as more expensive models.I looked at the splints for thumb triggers at the hospital and was shocked at the price,$165.00 for either one they had,I checked Amazon and found the same ones for $32.00.Further research led me to this ACE model which is excellent for the money.Works great supporting and is easily off and on if I need it.For the price it's hands down the best choice.

"One size fits most." -- Provided "most" have a hand the size of a 10 yo. I like the design, but their idea of how big an adult's hand is seems about as distant from reality as it can be. My hands are "large" in the sense that they are very long, but narrow. And still, I've got seams as smooth as the blade of a ripsaw cutting into my flesh, and cords like emery paper scraping over my skin. I suppose I should have sent it back, but then I'd have nothing to support my thumb. Instead, I have a pack of micro-fiber cloths I use for cleaning my glasses, and one of these underneath the stabilizer -- at the seams and gaps -- solved all of the excruciating flaws and provided me with a working thumb stabilizer, which I really need. Ace is a brand name that I expect more from.

After reading reviews for other thumb stabilizers, I decided to go with this known brand. I have a bone spur at the base of my left thumb and that thing hurts when I move my thumb! As soon as I got the stabilizer and put it on, instant relief. Fits well, straps adjust perfectly, it's very comfortable, and there's just the right amount of thumb support without being restrictive for the rest of my hand. I wear it every day. Highly recommend.

I have some kind of tendinitis in my wrist/thumb joint that flares up when doing certain tasks; eg. gardening, woodwork and even knitting etc. If I wear this when I do the tasks it is both protective and acts as a ‘warning’ to remind me to take it easy with that joint!

Lo compré porque empecé con una artritis del pulgar y realmente fue un gran alivio. Ya el problema se resolvió y no lo necesito más. Supongo que al descansar la articulación, se desinflamó y mejoró por completo.

Too small for someone who wears M size gloves as the velcro string band will bite into my wrist and skin. I have other ACE products to protect my wrist w/o issues. The seller claiming 'fits most people' is misleading and false. In addition, it was advertised as 'free return'. Again, it was misleading and false because you would need to pay the postage costs to return the item. Lesson learned, do not buy from third party sellers - you never know what 'free returns' mean.
