Love doing regular puzzles, but decided to try something 3D this time. It was great fun! The material quality was top notch, the engineering was incredible, and the instructions were some of the best I've seen. If there's any ambiguity, I always put things together wrong way first before getting it right. I had no do overs with this. After a little fine tuning, it worked perfectly! A lot of the connections require a great bit of force. Using the provided sandpaper to knock down the edges on the male connectors is advisable to get a good start before the major pressure begins. This is an amazing kit. My 12 year old grandson and I worked on it together. The quality of the product is very good. Pieces are precisely cut and fit together very well. Instructions are pictures and pretty easy to follow. Very important to follow them in order. Marble run works great!! He loved it! Took about 6 hours!

This is not simple build, it takes some time and effort to put it together which makes the whole process much more fun. The end result is a very cool marble run that my everyone likes to play with. The wood pieces are thin but strong enough for this build. There are a few pieces that needed to be lightly sanded but all considering the overall quality of the kit is quite good. I like this one so much I bought another version that Amazon has available.

I just finished this and had the same issues with the ball stop at the elevator. UNTIL, I noticed the bucket on the stop. Put a ball in it and it works perfectly! You must seat all pieces completely in order to get the angles. I lightly sand all the parts so it takes me a lot longer to complete. I broke off one tab, so I needed to glue that joint, Follow the instructions exactly for success. I wear a lighted head magnifier to see the details!

This has been a really fun project for me to work on. I'm glad I got it. It's not too easy to build but is easy to follow which is what I wanted. There needs to be some challenge to it. The company also has a FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. I had a weird issue with one piece that to me looked like it couldn't have been foreseen by them but after a couple messages back and forth they sent me a replacement piece super fast so I can continue with the project. I would highly recommend this brand/product.

I built this with my 2 sons, ages 10 and 12. We built it in about 2 days and it definitely requires some patience and gentleness as the pieces can be easy to break or damage if you're not careful. Definitely use the sanding tools to smooth out rough edges and lubricate where indicated.

I maintain this was a fabulous gift idea despite feedback that states otherwise. I will likely order one for myself to enjoy. It's a freaking 3-D puzzle and we all literally have nothing else to do.

L for some crazy reason it was missing one of the pieces of the puzzle. This is hard to understand considering they come in little Sheets still attached to the frame. Putting it together was super fun. However the gears are too tight causing the mechanism to bend and not work properly. On the first try of turning the gears it was so tight that one of the wooden pieces broke in half. Overall great fun however not worth the money. And it's a one time use only
