Anastasia Beverly Hills - DIPBROW Waterproof, Smudge-Proof Brow Pomade

This pomade is smooth, easy to work with, and very pigmented. A little goes a long way, and it applies evenly without drying out too fast. Once it sets, it stays put all day without smudging. Great for creating defined brows that still look controlled and clean. A dependable product that delivers consistent results.

I am a chronic over-plucker, so when I want to wear makeup, I have to fill in what little eyebrow I have left. I am also a makeup noob. I was able to try this initially because I somehow ended up with one of those usually-useless testers from some makeup store. The trial pack came with four colors, and Ash Brown was the first one I tried. I really liked how much easier it was to blend than the eyebrow pencil I was using at the time, but I wasn't totally sold on shelling out $18 for it yet. This product goes on easily, and allows you to be able to do dark & defined in areas where you want it (for me on the outer edge/top & bottom outline), as well as soft & subtle in places where you want that (again, for me that is the middle and inner edges.) Long story short, I used that pathetic little 1 cm sample size as much as I could, with the accompanying pathetically small trial brush, until the sample dried out because there's no real way to keep it sealed once you open it. I decided before paying for the full size I would make sure this was the right color and sampled the Dark Brown. That was a total mistake for me. Even though I'm a pretty tanned Korean with black hair, it was like "PSSST, LOOK AT MY EYEBROWS, THEY'RE DRAWN ON!!!!" So, while I am in no way hating on Dark Brown for existing, as I'm sure it works for some people, what I *am* saying is try and get your hands on a sample and try the colors first. No one wants to be out almost $20 for crazy brows. I have a bad habit of wiping my eyes/forehead/eyebrows, and so far this has done a good job of staying put and not smearing all over my face. I will be the first to admit, I'm not super pro when it comes to makeup, but from a lazy/sometimes makeup-wearer, all I need is once a day and I'm set. It also removes easily, which I appreciate. Would recommend.

The only brand that works. Every time I buy something cheaper and think that I can do better, I regret it and waste my money. I always come back to Anastasia. I like that they have many colors of brown too because my hair color changes. I never have a problem matching it. It is the most Lux eye gel there is on the market. I have probably bought it 30 times maybe 40 over ten years. The only problem I have with it is that it dries up somewhat quickly and I can’t figure out a way to juice it back up. I have tried Eye Drops, but that did not work. I tried a teeny tiny drop of castor oil but it was way over the top slick. So it seems I usually waste at least a quarter if not half of the jar because of it drying up, which is terrible. But I still buy it. I have to.

This is my second time purchasing the pomade by Anastasia, but this time I ordered a different color. I love the pomade because it stays put and looks very natural. It is also very versatile as you can do a more bold brow or something lighter. It lasts FOREVER because it hardly takes any product to achieve a full, filled in brow. I have tan skin, jet black hair and very dark brows. At first, I used the Ebony. It was a little too chocolatey brown for my coloring. This time, I ordered the ash brown. In my opinion, it looks a little less harsh and is a very good neutral for black hair without looking like I used a sharpie to fill in my eyebrows. I have gone to the gym as well as slept with this pomade on and it has stayed put. It doesn't drip AT ALL when you wash it off (the way eyeliner or mascara does) or get in the pool. I ordered it on amazon this time because I had a gift certificate, but I matched myself with the ash brown at my local Ulta prior to. This is a much better value and product than the brow pencil Anastasia offers, IMO, which lasted me only a month. I use a no name brand flat angled brush from Rite Aid and it works perfectly. Also, this works great as a subtle eyeliner. I swear by this product.

I recently tried this eyebrow product and overall, it’s a good option. It applies very dark, so I recommend using light strokes for a more natural look. My main issue is that it wipes off too easily, which makes it less long-lasting. Additionally, when I’m sweating, my eyebrows tend to look shiny, which was a dealbreaker for me. I ended up not keeping it for these reasons.

Ich habe echt schon alles ausprobiert. Von Drogerieprodukten über teure Sachen, wirklich schon viel viel Geld verschleudert auf der Suche nach dem perfekten Augenbrauen Produkt. In den USA habe ich mir vor langer Zeit einmal ein Augenbrauenpuder mitgenommen. Meine Farbe ist Medium Ash/Medium Brown. Mit dem Puder bin ich auch sehr zufrieden, wollte aber etwas haben, das wirklich 24 Stunden hält und vor allem wasserfest ist. PRO: - Es hält wirklich lange (nach dem Auftragen). Bei mir von morgens bis zum nächsten Tag (mal nach einer Partynacht getestet) - Auch nach dem Fitness Studio, sieht die Augenbraue noch aus wie "neu" - Wasserfest JA: Auch Duschen kann man mit den Augenbrauen (solange nur Wasser drüber läuft, aber nicht mit der Hand drüber wischen!) - Es sieht auch nach vielen Stunden noch aus wie frisch aufgetragen - Man kann damit eine sehr natürliche Augenbraue zaubern - Die Pomade fixiert auch gleich die Augenbrauenhärchen mit (man spart sich das Augenbrauengel) - Generell sehen die Farben von Anastasia Beverly Hills sehr natürlich aus (andere marken habe viel Rotstich drin oder einen komischen Unterton) Mein Ton Medium/ Ash sieht seeeeehr natürlich an mir aus - Es läßt sich sehr einfach mit einem abgeschrägten Pinsel auftragen und zwischendurch mit dem Spoolie die Haare in die richtige Richtung bringen - Auch wenn man Lücken hat, kann man die Pomade so auftragen, dass es natürlich aussieht. Ich habe zum Teil eine Monsterlücke ;) - Das Döschen ist hochwertig - Der Inhalt wird mit größter Wahrscheinlichkeit (meiner täglichen Nutzung bis jetzt) nach ca. 1 Jahr halten, also ist das Preis- Leistungs- verhältnis finde ich ok. Es ist zwar etwas teuerer, aber es hält dafür lange CONTRA: - Das Auftragen dauert bei mir länger (im Vergleich zu dem Puder oder dem Brow Wiz) - Bin aber auch pingelig und genau ;) - Wasserfest JA --> Wischfest NEIN !!! Wenn da nur etwas Wasser/Schweiß drüber läuft hält alles Bombe. Aber nicht mit den Fingern drangehen, wenn die Braue vorher nass/feucht geworden ist. Wenn man sie einfach trocknen läßt, dann hält sie auch. - Das Gel trocknet etwas an ganz oben ( Deshalb stelle ich sie immer falschherum hin, bei mir trochnet das gel jetzt nicht mehr so schnell ein) - Es muss noch ein Pinsel dazu gekauft werden. Bei manchen anderen Marken, ist bei dem Preis schon ein hochwertiger Pinsel dabei - Mit nur einfachem Wasser bekommt man die Pomade nicht so einfach von den Augenbrauen herunter. Ich nutze hier einen Make-up Entferner für wasserfestes Make-up. Damit geht es ganz gut. Sollte man mit bedenken, dass man es nicht so einfach runter waschen kann. Es geht schon, aber man schrubbt lange rum und verliert ein paar wertvolle Härchen. - Der Preis, aaaaaaaber wie schon bei den PROs beschrieben, es hält seeeehr lange und ist sein Geld wert! Fazit: Absolute Kaufempfehlung! Es ist jeden Cent wert. Bei meinem Puder hatte ich im Sommer öfters mal Angst, dass es durch das Schwitzen "verrutscht", also nicht mehr schön aussieht. Und wer möchte schon mit streifigen oder fleckigen Augenbrauen herumlaufen? Wenn ich 100% sicher sein möchte, dass die Augenbraue auch nach vieeelen Stunden noch tip top aussieht, dann nutze ich die Pomade. Fitness, Party, im Flugzeug, langer Tag im Büro, Beach-Club, Swimmen, im Sommer usw. Ich wechsel das ganze ab mit dem Brow Wiz, den ich auch besitze und von dem ich auch super begeistert bin. Das Puder nutze ich auch zwischendurch mal, wenn es nicht ganz so perfekt sein muss und damit einfach nur auf die schnelle mal die "Löcher" ausgefüllt werden. Ich bin glücklich seitdem ich die Pomade habe und weiß, wenn es drauf ankommt hält sie Bombe! Après avoir utilisée pendant des années le crayons à sourcils MAC, je suis passée à cette marque sous la recommandation d’une amie et je ne regrette pas ! Grande quantité, belle couleur et facile à utiliser. Je recommande le pinceau pour sourcils de chez benefit pour aller avec !

Ich habe mir das Produkt lange vor dem Kauf immer wieder angesehen. Auch auf Youtube Reviews geguckt. Am Ende kam ich zu dem Schluss: Trotz des teuren Preises werde ich es kaufen Es hat sich sehr gelohnt! ich bin zufrieden wie noch nie mit einem Augenbrauenprodukt! Es ist tatsächlich wasserfest und hält bei mir über 16 Stunden, vermutlich auch noch länger, wenn ich mich dann nicht abgeschminkt hätte. Es verwischt nicht, es bleibt wo es ist, es bleicht nicht aus. Außerdem kann man je nach belieben einen sehr natürlichen Look oder aber etwas "mehr" hinkriegen, je nach Vorliebe. Das finde ich super, da es ein Allrounder ist. Ich benötige außerdem noch weniger Zeit zum auftragen als mit meinem Augenbrauenstift von NYX und ich dachte bei diesem sei der Auftrag schnell. Am Anfang muss man 2-3x üben, da es wirklich sehr pigmentiert und ergiebig ist. Man braucht nur ganz ganz wenig. Falls ich es jemals aufbrauchen sollte, werde ich es mir definitiv nachkaufen !
