Wagner's 53002 Farmer's Delight Wild Bird Food with Cherry Flavor, 10-Pound Bag

I have been buying this the whole year since I found it. The birds love it. Good quality & nice cherry smell. The birds come out to feast as soon as I fill up the feeder. The size is perfect for my needs. I mix it with more sunflower seeds which I purchase separately to increase the size; but please don't change anything in this 10 lb bag, since it is perfect !

I have no idea what makes this seed mix so special, but the birds in my neighborhood FLOCK to my feeder when I put it out. My neighbor that also feeds the birds, even asked what the heck I’m doing! (And mind, this neighbor was reigning queen of the bird monopoly. ALL the birds went to HER yard, but oh how the tables have turned.) I predominantly get mourning doves and house sparrows, the occasional finch or cardinal, and they all seem happy with this seed. Even the squirrels enjoy it. The mix looks nice with what seems like a wide variety of seed, and it never lasts long in my feeder. The feeder will be ‘licked clean’ by nightfall (obviously not literally ‘licked clean.’) Good for the birds, they’re happy, but I feel for whoever is delivering all these seed orders! (But the birds are happy, feathered friends that no longer use my vehicle as their latrine.)

I can’t speak to how it tastes because I’m not a bird and haven’t tried it, but the birds around me seem to love it. I had to pick up a second job just to keep them stocked in this bird feed. I tried the economy bird seed from Walmart but they turned their beaks up at it. The birds near me go through this so fast by the time I refill the feeders they’re empty again! The value is great though. A bag will typically last me about 2-3 weeks depending how greedy the birds are. It draws all types too, cardinals, blue jays, black capped chickadees, etc. I could watch them for hours but I have to get going to my second shift so I can buy more seed for them.

I received so many bird visitors in my birdfeeder with this seed. It attracts a variety of different birds. It’s a large size bag so it will last for a little while. I keep the seed in my house so I ended up getting a storage bin so I could create a mixture of different seeds. Keeping it in a bin also minimizes the mess.

Great product! I get so many more song birds since I started using this seed. I love coming out in the mornings and hearing them all chirp and sing.
