Goya + Chickpeas = WIN
I prefer this brand of Chickpeas and we eat a lot of them. Grocery stores have mostly moved away to other brands or are forcing their own generic brand on us. So I order these now from Amazon. They are good marinated, alone, in salads, as sides. They are great in a long-cooking soup or stew and really take on the spices and flavors without competing. They add satisfying protein and bulk, which doesn't make you fat. What is not to love?

These Chick peas are way better then Dude peas!!
I weigh over 400 pounds from laying around playing video games and eating really unhealthy food. When my Doctor told me to cut back on Ice-cream, Marijuana cookies, vodka, pizza, candy, beer, and cocaine, I thought, Wow, I bet these Chick peas will fix me right up!! Healthy diet you probably didn't realize was so easy
This is an amazing dinner idea. I've been on a Mediterranean diet for years. Some of the dishes are made of tomato soups or broths with chickpeas. Tomatoes provide their nutrients and the chickpeas also pack some protein. Sodium level is low. When I got these I tried to emulate some of my favorite Mediterranean dishes. Take tomato paste, add chickpeas, basil, Italian spices and some black pepper. And that is just a start as you can add shrooms or other things as you like. These chickpeas are the perfect texture. They are cooked just right. Chickpeas can be very hard to cook. I will definitely be ordering more. Yum
