I replaced my porch and driveway lights with these. They were brighter than the old ones and I don't have to think about turning them on or off. The areas are well lit, and easy to view through the security cameras. UPDATE Close to half a year later one of them was flickering all night long. I didn't bother to check the circuit, I got some different similar type bulbs. No problem with the new one. Changing rating to 4, down from 5. Other one is still working and brightness is good.

After several months these bulbs can go into a strobe mode (rapid flashing). I've had at least four bulbs do this. At first, I replaced them and threw them out. Later, I kept the bulbs and tried them again after a week or so. Not sure why, but they didn't strobe anymore and I was able to put them back into service again. Don't understand it, but I'm no longer tossing them due to the strobing.

This bulb is advertised to last for 30,000 hours, but after only about 2,000 hours (9 months) my bulb cracked and started strobing. I contacted the vendor and they were said they would send me another pair of bulbs as a replacement.

Built an energy efficient home in 2018 complete with all lighting being LED. 2500 SF under air. The garage is comprised of a double wide door and one single wide door opening. There are three single bulb carriage lighting fixtures on the same circuit that operates from two locations. When the evening changes to dusk, all three of the bulbs become active and stay on until the dawn approaches; then as the morning light reaches the sensors, they turn off. On and off within seconds of each others. Most of my neighbors commented on the brightness of the lamps. Now, there are four families in the neighborhood with the same lights. Fantastic! And being completely electrical energy efficient, here in SWFL, our electric bills average less than $100.00 a month. Plus the easy feeling by having very high efficient LED lighting to keep the area safe.

I purchased two bulbs and they were bright and working great. After 8 months, the light sensor in the bulb became defective causing the light to flash repeatedly like a strobe light. I informed the seller and they are willing to prorate the purchase of the LED bulb as it is over 8 months old. I do not feel that the seller has confidence in their products. I will look for another solution to my problem bulb and not make any additional purchases from this seller as the product quality is sub-standard and they don't have a stated warranty, I too ignored the reviews stating that the bulbs start flashing like a strobe in time.

I use these bulbs for my outside night lights. I used to buy light units at Home Depot for $45 to $50 dollars that had built in dusk and dawn shut offs. Now I can buy a much cheaper regular light unit and place these bulbs in them and get the same results. I didn't even know such bulbs existed until I saw them on Amazon mixed in with regular LED light bulbs. As soon as these wear out, I'll order some more.

I purchased this product because I wanted a dusk to dawn light at an entrance door. I was also attracted to this product because of the 30,000 hour life span of the blub.This light blub turned into a strobe light when the sun when down, flashing continuously. I tried putting it in a different light fixture, it was still flashing like a strobe light.I estimated that from when I purchased the light to when it began flashing the blub had about 5000 hours of use. Far short of the 30,000 life span that is advertised.I attempted to contact the manufacturer directly to see if they would send me a new blub. I went to their website and called the phone number under Contact Us. I got a message that the number was no longer in service.I then attempted contacted under the Chat With Us. No one was there to chat with me. I got a message "We’re currently unavailable. We’ll get back to you when one of our operators is able to respond. Please provide your email address so we can get in touch with you."I left a message with the problem and my email address. No one contacted me.If you are looking for a reliable dusk to dawn light blub that is supported by a customer service department, I would look for someone other than LOHAS LED. If you are looking for a strobe light, LOHAS LED has the product. Just give it sometime and your dusk to dawn bulb will function as a dusk to dawn strobe light.My message to a potential purchaser, consider someone else.

Have had 2 of these for about 3 weeks now. They are ok. Not overly bright, they have a nice white colour temperature. Brightness about the same as an old 100 watt incandescent. They are dusk to dawn, but seem to come on very early in the evening and turn off very late in the morning, takes virtually no darkness to activate them. It got very cold here a couple of weeks ago (-25C) bulbs would not turn on, they flickered like strobe lights. They started working normally when the temperature rose a few days later to -18c. They had to be kept off in the extreme cold.Once they burn out I will be looking for something else.

Within three months, I have been through two bulbs. They can't withstand cold temperature drops. These bulbs will incessantly flicker, similar to a strobe light, and that can happen when it isn't dark out. That's a security risk as it's an indication that no one is home. That defeats the purpose of the bulb's function, especially if you're away from home, or out of town for any length of time. I won't give up entirely on dusk-to-dawn bulbs and, in the future, I'll consider paying more for a known brand.

Works great, using outside in Canada... except when it's extremely cold outside, some bulbs do a "strobe" like effect when it's too cold, bring them inside for 5 min, then back outside and works fine. This has happened 5-6 times this past winter, and not every bulb, some never did the strobe.

The media could not be loaded.  These worked great in the summer but as winter set in Alberta anything colder than -10c when they try and turn on they just flick on off constantly will never stay on, Good for summer have to remove in winter

The media could not be loaded.  I purchased 2 bulbs, in November. Both bulbs were good for about 2 + weeks, and suddenly one bulb stops working and another one started flashing. I would like to attach a video clip, but is too big and not able to upload on the site. Not happy with a product.
