Really good product. All work and no signs of cracks. Very simple to use and no complications.

Plastic is fragile / packaging needs to be better
Product is fine, anyone complaining about sterilization needs to practice their sanitary techniques. disappointed with the packing of this shipment. Was packaged in a bag 40 thin plastic Petri dishes shipped like this box’s containing the items was beat up. I am absolutely floored that none of them cracked from the poor handling/packaging. Other than that the product is exactly what you need. this is my second time ordering and have about a 10% contamination rate (assuming my own doing) Be sure to use parafilm and be careful not to exert to much force because the plastic will crack very easily. If the plastic was just slightly thicker hands down would be the best out there. Thicken these boys up a bit !

Good product
We used these for party decor for my daughters college graduation party, they were perfect and good price, they are actually sterile and would have been fine for lab tests as well

Great for my purpose - maybe not so great for anything else.
I am using these dishes for artwork. They will be getting very light one time use and for that purpose they are perfect. They are cost effective and they are functional. For the rest of the world that aren’t using these for art work - be aware.... they are very flimsy. They break easily and when they do they are sharp. They are absolutely not suitable for children, toys, storage or more than one use. Also- I poured resin and ink into one of the dishes. This isn’t unusual for me to do and I have used the super thin plastic cups for this purpose in the past and often use solo cups. When resin cures it generates heat. It can become hot to the touch and it has, on occasion, warped Solo cups. - just to give you some comparison- and it did melt the side of the Petri dish. They are not at all heat tolerant.

Sterile. Works as intended.
Two weeks after pouring 20 agar plates I have only had one become contaminated, so it was likely a random spore during pouring that found it's way inside. I'm happy with the product overall. The dishes are thin, but plenty strong enough to do what they are intended for. So long as the plastic bag the dishes come in isn't compromised, it seems they will indeed be sterile. Much easier than sterilizing my glass petri dishes, albeit more wasteful, but a massive time saver.

Affordable, but Very Thin and Lids Fit Loosely
These plates are okay for the price, but there are a few downsides. The plastic is very thin and feels flimsy compared to higher-quality dishes. The lids also fit pretty loosely, which isn’t ideal if you’re trying to keep things sealed or prevent contamination. That said, the price is good for the quantity you get, and they do technically get the job done for basic use. If you’re just practicing or need disposable plates for short-term use, they’re workable. Overall, they’re fine for the cost, but the thin material and loose-fitting tops make them less reliable than I’d like. I probably wouldn’t order these again and would spend a little more next time for sturdier ones with tighter-fitting lids.

Easy to pour and withstand very warm agar without melting
Got these to make my own agar petri dishes. They came out great. I poured between 140-160 F and they didn't melt. I use the same temp for condiment cups and they don't melt either. I poured them this week so I don't have a long term rating on sterility but so far they seem to be sterile.

Good Throw Away Dishes
This product is not reusable and it is not made of polypropylene. The plastic cannot withstand autoclave temperatures and will melt. Not recommended if you need reusable petri dishes. They come sterilized as long as you keep them in the packaging. Hope this helps my fellow Beakers (science nerds)

Several petri dishes arrived cracked, bags were teared
Not sure what happened to this order but several sleeves of petri dishes were torn open and there were cracks on several petri dishes, even in ones that were in sealed bags that were not open yet.

Brittle but good enough for our purposes
Nice clear petri dishes, but 1/4 of them were damaged in shipping because there is no packing material in the box of them and they are made of quite brittle plastic.
